I think this is they type of thing were a lot of misconceptions come in. Someone states something.. and another person comes at with a "Well, for me.." but no one actually reads what is said. They instead conflict two different situations as if they were the same thing.
Minx in her post, was talking about cutting off the blood supply to an area of the body - which - should be fairly common sense that if you cut off blood supply to something needs it - tissue damage will occur. However, Sherri's post went to challenge that claim by an example of restricting blood flow. There is a difference in restricting and completely cutting off. Restricting won't damage, no, not at all - but cutting off, YES, it will.
