President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they floated restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to two people briefed on the meeting.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to these people, referring to African countries and Haiti. He then suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries like Norway, whose prime minister he met Wednesday.

Lamentably, Norwegians - like many others - seem to prefer living in places where they're not surrounded by the sorts of primitive cretins who'd elect somebody like Trump as their national leader. God knows why.

It has nothing to do with race. He does not want people from certain countries with little or no work skills coming to the US. He is right.

But Trump himself has little or no work skills. He can barely string a sentence together, has done almost nothing of any use throughout his life and even now that he's President spends most of his time he's on the golf course. I can't follow your reasoning here, servantforuse.

I'm not sure if you knew this already, but in US elections, the candidates are vying for votes from US Citizens, and not non-US Citizens. I couldn't care less what the typical person in the UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, Russia, etc. thinks of a candidate (regardless of the candidate).

When Bosco (or any US Citizen on these boards) uses the term "Leftist," do you understand what he means? Are you confused as to who he is referring to? IF so, then the word fits just fine, as it's conveying the ideas Bosco (or another) wants it to. If not, then you might want to consider it's usage, the theme of the posts in which it is used, etc.
