If meaning is being conveyed, how can you not have a complex discussion? You might not like how someone speaks/writes, but in the end, if someone is able to get their point across, isn't that all that's really necessary for discussion?

If someone is really an "intellectual midget," why would you even enter into a discussion with that person in the first place?

Because meanings aren't being conveyed.

The moment some RWNJ like Bosco recognizes that you are left of Trump, suddenly you support the US becoming a Stalinist dictatorship.
Intolerance of racism is support for the Orwellian thought police and support for white genocide.
Anything that hints at feminism is automatically a tyrannical subjugation of men.
Support for stricter gun regulations is support for a full-blown gun ban where the government sends agents to your house and pries the guns from your hands.
Criticizing Trump as a human being isn't about Trump being flawed, it's about wanting Hillary to win, wanting to invalidate the 2016 election results and undermine democracy.

They cannot make subtle distinctions between moderate, more radical, extreme and absurdly cartoonish positions.
When a comment should be taken at face value, they refuse to do so.

This is because they are uncomfortable responding to arguments that they cannot easily win by parroting whatever their news sources tell them to think.
We don't actually have discussions here, because Bosco and co. are incapable of being honest with themselves or others.

It is futile and they are dumb... really, the only reason anyone with a brain would come here is to feel superior, feel depressed about American society, and marvel at just how dumb some people can get.
I know that's not exactly admirable, but when you don't have much else going on, it passes the time.

But Africa is super fucked up and always need alot of aid from the rest of the world and they will somehow never fix themselves because it's one huge mess!

Especially when you think about all the theory that we ALL came from Africa.

They had more time than any other continents to fix themselves.

But it's not happening.

It's not diplomatic because it happens to be a black country/continent, whatever.

But reality is, it is a shithole.

Canada is advising any haitians are thinking of coming north, to look into making calls to immigration as asylum from a "friendly" country, is not very likely.
They are in the US already. racism isnt a good excuse to send people elsewhere.

Thanks Lucy... I don't think my country is a shit hole...but I do think many countries do because of the actions of our president and congress. We are at fault as we elected them but I think we may be realizing our mistake. It just scares me when I see good people right here on these boards and congress afraid to condemn the actions of a man like Trump because they would have to admit they made a mistake. I am not talking about policy... I can disagree with someone with different political views and still respect them... I am talking about the man and the man alone.
