If you're giving him a bj at the time, or he was masterbating to ejaculation in front of you, yes, it would be obvious. This does not mean that he can't fake it vaginally.
I will give a polite reason why a man might choose to do this. Say his partner has this 'ideal' of the perfect lovemaking session where both would climax simultaneously. He complies by faking it and she is elated and has received her perfect fantasy. I don't choose to go in to the particulars on how this is done, so as not to give aide to those who would choose to use it with malace. They can figure it out by themselves. Why should I add fuel to the fire.

*laughs* aside from the fact men can learn to orgasm without ejaculaating ... indeed any tantra students will tell you its a yummy skill

and since condoms are so often in use .. that would be a simple way to fake it if a male desired ...most woman (or men) have no desire to check the contents of a used condom

some men can also ejaculate and not go soft... at least not for any appreciable time *warm smile* .... ahhhh the joys of diversity ...just because you have a body doesnt mean you understand the complete possabilities of your own body let alone anothers ... or the complete variations within your own gender

also one needs to look at what is really being faked when you talk about orgasms...

the physical ending may be very easy to a male ... but that doesnt mean he doesnt fake his enthusiasm or the emotional intensiity of the event in order to please his partner, or cover up his lack luster interest etc etc ....

I think one can say its pretty even between the sexes of people who fake their interest either in the person they are with or the level of emotional reaction... for all sorts of reasons ... how they do this may vary by degree between the genders ... but the intent is still the same

In general, I see no logical reason to instruct another person how to fake an orgasm if they don't already know. It serves no purpose. I can't see any benefit to anyone faking one, male or female. Even the polite one I gave above is not a good enough reason and the other reasons go drastically downhill from there.
I would also not give the tools/information/instruction to someone on how to effectively retaliate against another, when they get mad.

I dont believe in any type of 'faking' ... *smiles* ... with the intention to decieve ...

although we are all human ... and its true sometimes (and not talking about orgasms in particular) some people fake/hide/modify reactions to things in order to not hurt another or be more accepted etc ... I think we have all had an absolutly wrong present from someone who cared deeply for us .. and accepted it with thanks and a smile .... or a thousand other not so complete reactions... comunication is the aim.. as complete and as honest as possable *smiles* ... but people make mistakes

But the question was not about the validity of why someone would fake such a thing ... but the OP's belief that men never did so .. or at least his implied disbelief

I dont think my one sugested possble way is going to give many people fuel for how to seriously use this particular deceit as a way of causing harm to another ... nor was it condoning the behaviour

I gave an example so as to validate the statement that men can do so .... rather than just leave it as 'I said so so it must be right' ... i personaly dont feel this discussion is going to cause a rash of such behaviour

Sorry, MzMinx. I should have said I was, ‘using fast reply. I was making the statement in general, not in response to what you had said.
You provided a much better answer than mine. I would hope that this would satisfy his question.
The only answer I could think of, at that time, required instructions. Unfortunately, that did bring it down to, 'I said so, so it must be right'. Since I would not be the one to empower a person with the ‘how to’, just so that I can prove a point, that’s how I’ll leave it and he can think what he wants.
Had I not posted a reply just before I had to rush off to some other things that were requiring my attentions, I probably would have had seconds thoughts about pushing that blasted send button, at least until I’d thought of other ways. Too late now LOL

Yes, but to my knowledge it hasn't happened with me yet. Long time ago *coughs*, at different times, I had partners who were diabetic or had high blood pressure and were on meds that could suddenly kill an erection that had been difficult to maintain to start with. I can see that if someone were using a gel or foam contraceptive, or a condom, that an orgasm could be faked.

It could be ego saving, rather than just admitting that impotence is close at hand.

I wonder if men know that some men fake it, so that's why porn flicks all have cum shots, as proof...
