greetings...

"That would be difficult Suz. Unfortunately few are able to do it both long term and consistently. But it's sort of like her contention of being his white silk slave. I do wonder if she really is a virgin, as that is the only way to be *white silk*. That of course isn't even just in her relationship with her master. 'Cause even though the old saying was that *I haven't had sex in so long my cherry grew back*, it just doesn't happen. :)"

she's pretty much whatever I want her to be... ~shrugs...~ as for the white silk thing, yup, it's in the books... it just isn't easily found...
does it HAVE to be in the books for Me to want it that way?.. nope... but it is... so it works for us...

as for her rules on third person speech... that's not something I've actually required... it's something she is working on doing consistently cuz I like it... again... it works for us...

so there ya go...

nope... I'm not hibernating... ***grin***... I just don't think she's done anything poorly enough here to REALLY get involved...

further... the ORIGINAL post on this thread gave My email if anyone was truly offended... has anyone bothered to message Me there?... nope... this is NOT My preferred habitat... so I'm not even gonna open it very often... if anyone wants My attention, you'll have to use the email... posted here one more time...

be well,

::Smiles:: I see Sylver is not the only one in your household who likes to quote me without mentioning who said it. Of course, Sir, to be fair, the laughing was at Sue's comment on the *rules of 3rd person speech*. Of course you can call her a white-silk, but that doesn't mean that the way you are doing it has anything to do with the Gorean series.

Of course, I guess I look at Gorean slightly differently. I see Stormi as posting here because she would be banned in a heart beat off many of the Gorean Forums for telling a dominant male he was totally out of line. It wouldn't even matter if she was right. From those I know in the leather community, protocol is just as strong, and slaves ripping dominants is again very unacceptable. I guess things are just different in Texas.

I think it's great that she wants to please you with learning to use 3rd person speech. I guess one of the reason it annoys me so much, is it's like people who bring others into their scene. Sure, here you have the option to not read the person, but sometimes Stormi says things that I want to reply to. If she is doing it to *please you* logic says she should do it places you GO (as you yourself said you don't come here much). Can't even be doing it to please Sylver, because Sylver said she isn't Gorean.

I personally find the Gorean culture a very wonderful thing Sir. It is the 3rd person speech, the use of things like *white silk reserved* instead of just saying she isn't for public use, etc., that make so many misunderstand it. It's kind of like how the Y/you, W/we, or capitalizing any pronoun for a dominant makes those within BDSM sound incapable of proper English to those who aren't in it (I get asked about that as often by friends as what things are expected of me as a slave).

I sent this to you off of the boards also Sir. You can reply on here, in email, both, or neither as you wish.

As far as Stormi goes, I find her intelligent, but really think that she could make her points a lot better if she quite acting like anyone who dares to disagree with her is personally insulting her.

This thread started out as a warm loving poly family seeking. It was started by the female slave of the Master/husband, and her search is for a male sub/slave for the Domme/wife.

I understood the search has been long and frustrating, and I mentioned "Lifestyler Search Fatigue" (LSF). Since the thread's main jist was of the missing male sub and how tough the search was, I also mentioned being appreciative of the existing poly family they have, that many others don't have to appreciate. After reading the initial thread post again I also mentioned that if it were covert trolling, it was clever, but none the less against the rules.

That seems to have lit the fuse on the firecracker, and it's been bang-bang-bang every since... some daily quip to keep this thread floating, some even contradicting others... but at any rate, keeping the soap opera thread floating.

To the members of this poly family, please enjoy the merits and rewards of your chosen lifestyle and your particular meld of the lifestyle sectors that work for you. I don't think anyone here has tried to take anything away from you, and yes some of you do react to differing opinion as personal attack... and engage to counter attack the "perceived attack".

Most of the controversy in this thread seems to be "I didn't do it, you did it!", "she said he said", or "that works just fine for us!"... it works fine for us and the female slave is always whatever the Master wants her to be.

Hasn't this thread gone way Off Topic? Actually I'd rather read about the negative qualities or actions of those listed in the thread's title, as opposed to the mud slinging manor this thread seems to have quickly become.

Back On Topic:

Yes, liars, wannabes, cheating spouses, money hunters, the list goes on.... YES they ALL suck!

MOST Gorean Masters prefer the use of third person speech from their slaves, as this shows outwardly to other Gorean the level of training.

How did you succeed in contacting and getting this information from most Gorean Masters?

Hi stormi, nice to see you!

Not just for me. You simply should have expected that I, along with others, would have our own opinions, and that should not include an expectation of our opinions matching your own, or vice-versa. You have to take the good with the bad, just like everyone else does. If you feel my opinion is bad, then in your eyes it's bad... no problem. However, no matter how high you jump up and down on the soapbox, it does not change my opinion, but rather tends to reinforce it. I'm not dragging any axes around, I've stated my opinion and will enjoy my crucificion until my very last gasp... but my opinion remains the same. I can understand why you want to refloat/bump this thread, as it's mission has apparently not yet been accomplished.
