The four amino acids that make up DNA?

Adenine
Cytosine
Guanine
Thymine

Not sure about my spelling.

True of the first two.  Not so sure of the 3rd or 4th. Keep going bear, but make it EZ on yourself!

EW: Mr. Google can play.... part of the fun as poster is to try and make the quartet "google proof."  I doubt if one typed the four gun names, one would get the answer.

Likewise, I doubt you'd get any pages back after entering those four gentlemen's names.  However, enter one at a time and see if you yourself - not Mr. Google - can deduct what the answer is.

BLEAH!  I typed in each name seperately and learned the third is misspelled.... What a super easy way to make the puzzle "google proof." LOL /said with a hint of shame in Lance's voice/

Current quartet:

Renato de Zavagli
Romain de Tirtoff
Jascha Brojdo (I had one too many o's in there - sorry!)
Samuel Brostofsky

Nope. "Fashion" in only the broadest sense of the word.  The first two are French. third Polish, fourth is American.
Y'all are making this too hard on yourselves.  NOT their birthplace, not their occupations although they were all designers of fashion and household items, glass, ceramic, etc.  The second was exclusively a painter under this name. (HEY! Lance, don't give them such a BIG clue...... that hidden clue about "make it EZ" was WAY too much help already........ Bad Lance, bad, bad Lance!)
