It's more like a chamber pot, however, since it'll need to be "emptied" itself.
Somewhat practical, however, as it can be available anywhere at any time, without having to interrupt other activities, and can usually provide other services as well. Under most circumstances, a human toilet is also mobile, and you don't have to lug it around, which is just lovely when you're going camping, for instance. And many will clean up with no need for toilet paper.
Certainly a lot more practical for men than for women, though.
Unless, of course, one wants to go through a whole lot of trouble, like this one guy who wanted to build a kind of toilet where a woman was basically "installed" as a "filter" in a box, with a catheter etc. to dispose of her wastes in turn, without her ever leaving the "filter box". Something like that would probably have been to the OP's liking, I imagine.
More people than you'd think actually go the distance with regard to objectification.
And some go the distance with regard to the health aspects of that as well.
