Ohhhh long story there.
Dwarf hamster #1, otherwise known as Crunchy lived with #2, known as Munchy.
One morning I awoke to find that Crunchy had beat the crap out of Munchy and pretty much killed him. Ooops. then a week later...lo and behold....there's four little babies in the cage. Damn. I'm a grandparent now. So one dies right from the get go and one is really dominant and bogarts all of Crunchy's yummy milk. the other two wither away and die while the strong one, now known as Fluffy thrives. I now have to go and buy a new cage and separate Fluffy from Crunchy as she starts to show sign of aggression towards her babe. So...two cages, two dwarf hamsters. Life is good until...a cage malfunction proves that my 17 year old cat Fred, who is totally deaf and half blind by the way, can still catch a rodent like no ones business. The following week, another cage malfunction, a loose tunnel proves that another escapee falls to the Fredster. New batch of really ballsy dwarfs bring us to Itchy and Scratchy. They're cute and fit quite nicely into shiney Barbie jackets. Kinda makes em look like a furry Elvis.
