My issue is that it reeks of "servicing" them. Not my job. In fact, quite the opposite. LOL

I have nothing but respect for Amy, and also for you Pixel, but to be honest, Denny really hit the spirit of the post more on the head.  While I do not by any means condone the language he used, his outrage at those who waste my (and other domme's) time is actually appreciated.  I am not looking for someone seeking to explore submission unless they're going to pay for the time I spend training them.  I come to the forums to ask for and to give advice, I sometimes direct those with questions, or just starting out over to this side of the site.

And FYI, I don't just hit "block" immediately.  I very tersely tell them to read my profile, and sometimes I am gracious enough to link them to an example first session with me, but if they don't read my profile, aren't willing to take the time to read the session description, there is no way I'm going to personally and descriptively answer such a broad question.  I have no problem being direct and answering direct questions, but that question is a sure sign of a lazy, self-centered person, which for me, is something a GOOD sub cannot be.

demistress,
If you read my reply to your OP again I think you'll find that I wasn't suggesting in any manner that you respond to "do me questions" with anything specific.  If you wanted a "rant thread", that's certainly your perogative.  However, I don't think it helps anyone who needs to learn how to approach a Mistress, learn a whole lot of what they need to do - including the "how to's" and the "how not to's".

Most men seem to respond to rants by moving on without reading them.  If not,  a certain word automatically pops into their minds that I'd rather not repeat, after which they dismiss the post, and then move on anyway.  My point being, its my opinion, that to direct a man here to read the forums, doesn't serve a lot of purpose if they're full of rants, instead of usefull information presented in a manner that will be read and easily absorbed.

Well, if I'm a "certain word" then so be it, and apparently so are many other mistresses on here. I did not post this to hear lectures from those such as you, but rather to find out if I was the only mistress this particular question pissed off.  Clearly I am not.  That is useful information.

Funny that you reference re-reading YOUR initial response for clarity, where if you read mine I asked a very specific question, directed to a very specific audience...... hmmmmmmmmmm a certain word is popping to mind as I type.

Dang pixel:

We agreed upon something.  It would depend  upon the mood I was in.  If in an angry mood, someone could be totally politie to me, and they would get under my skin.

Respectfully,

It doesn't bother me per say because I've seen it so many times but when they start out a conversation like that and I mean like it's the first thing that comes from them I don't reply at all. I won't waste not another amount of energy, not another pixel on them, nada, they are immediately expelled from my bubble.  Conversation over.

Anyone else get totally pissed off when someone (even someone you've liked up to that point) asks this question?

If you find yourself too peeved to give one of the more civil responses already suggested in this thread, the phrase "Whatever I bloody well feel like" should prove satisfactory to both parties.

demistress,
In regard to your feeling you're being lectured, I'm truly sorry you have that impression, as that was not at all my intent.  My only purpose was to share my thoughts on how things could be handled in a manner that could result in a different outcome.  If a person's sharing their thoughts in a forum such as this is considered a lecture, a free exchange of ideas and thoughts is definitely not likely to ever occur.

Going back to your original post, I don't see where it's directed to any specific audience.  In fact, it seems quite generic to me based on the manner in which its phrased.   I'll even quote how it reads for your and other reader's convenience:

I personally wouldn't interpret the word "Anyone" to refer to a specific audience, but if you intended it to mean "Mistresses only", should I take that to imply you'd prefer only Mistresses post in this Section of the Boards?  Its appears to have happened before, where subs have essentially quit posting in this section of the boards, except of course those who were doing the usual trolling.  Even now, there aren't many subs who regularly post here.  Perhaps there's a reason why...

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen;

I'm not responding to anyone specificly and or anything specificly written however, I do have some observations and comments as the thread has progressed.

In my mind's eyes I see, Dominant women can easily become cynical.
It is something Dominant men really rarely have problems with, if they are Heterosexual.

When we're (in general terms) are dealing in text format, we're all robbed of face to face reading of expressions and or listening to their voices, that transmits their intentions.  This is where I have concerns, as some of these lads don't know how jaded a good many have become and the 'come on lines' used.  The 'open air wondering outloud' I would have to say--its one of those dang if you do and dang if you don't.  I see wankers using 'what will you do to me' as to manipulate and play games for sexual thrills.  And, then I see innocents that approach, seeking what really goes on behind what Female Dominants do--for educational purposes, to find out and to explore this lifestyle.  It can be the same exact words but, the tone/tenor of the voice can throw it hard one side or the other - Player and Innocent.

In my mind's eyes I see, the man slave(s) and male submissives who watch other men interact; have an advantage and I pay heed to what credible men on this forum have to say, especially when it deals with man slaves and or male submissives.  I find them very perceptive.

Other than a bit raw in response, the contents are appreciated when Denny17 posted his words, that Female Dominants deserve better then being subjected to whankers and or players.  I see Denny17, in my mind's eyes as a pitbull of sorts.  Dancing on his feet and air boxing like Muhammad Ali, protecting Female Dominants from idiots.

I also appreciate Pixelslave's words on a more philosophical approach, to where there needs to be 'remedies' and or 'options' offered to those who identify as male slave/male submissive/male servant; on how better to approach a Female Dominant; such as in lieu of "What would you do to me question;" it would be better to ask; "What normally takes place in a D/s scene, to my body."  Or, "What should I expect when I am a novice or given such a situation."

When dealing in a text medium, I am of the thought of the endless "what if" scenarios, to where words can fall either side of the meter.
I just have concerns about the innocents who honestly seek to 'understand' and or 'learn;' that get the wrath from cynical and or jaded Dominants.

Just some thoughts.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

As to the nature of the original post: DO you hear this question?  does it piss you off?  Gee, both answers are no?  Shocking.

No I do not think that this forum should be reserved to ONLY posts by mistresses, but frankly, yes, the question was posed to mistresses, and further, you did not answer the original question, you took the opportunity to lecture, as you often do  For those who post wanting ADVICE I've seen it be helpful, but that was not the case here.

If you truely wanted to be hepful you might have approached the topic from the angle of other ways the submissive or slave might approach a dominant woman. But no, you chose to lecture (and you know that's exactly how it comes off in your posts here).

At any rate, thank you SO much for your input, I'll be sure and run all my emotions by you from now on *rolls eyes and pukes*

To "Anyone" ELSE:  I need a break, I'll see you all in a few days, feel free to contact me on the other side.

I  generally answer that question with  "whatever I desire".  However, if its seems to be something that   the submissive is focused on or  keeps  repeating,  particularly if I have  gone over some of the things I do in general ,  it does tend to aggrivate me after awhile.   I  start to assume that they are primarily  looking for wanking material.

Thank you Lady Hugs,
You have once again eloquently stated what I and others could not find the proper words to convey.  You did inded cut right to the heart of what I was trying to suggest.

I am heavily into castration play.  What?!?!.... where are you going???  You don't want to talk anymore?

PS - if I'm feeling generous I might answer by telling him he's looking at this whole situation from the wrong angle - it's not what will I do to you, but what you will do for me.

Thank you for your feedback.  I will give it some thought.

I hope you've had the chance to read what Lady Hugs had to share, as I believe she had some things to say which to a very large degree contained the gist of what I could not seem to find the proper words to convey.

Now this isn't fair or true.   I like pixel's wrting, and at times disagree with him, but I've never gotten the impression he's rude or passive aggressive; in fact, I wish you would point out the instances you thought he was.   I think he expresses himself here in a way that is helpful to both mistresses and male subs the majority of the time, and to me that is a pretty high standard to maintain here.
What is ironic is that in running to defend Demistress you thought it was okay to gang up on/attack pixel while accusing some others of posteriorly ganging  up on Demistress whom I don't think has a reason to feel that is how we behave here in general.
Anyway, that is the impression I got from your note.    M
