I would like to discuss your bondage and discipline practices.
 
Is your bondage a part of discipline?
Is your bondage a part of play?
 
I am sure you see the distinction between the questions and would like your take on it.

Learning dicipline or play it's allllllllllllll good if you asked me.
LOL now only if my life included a relationship with a Dom into bondage, then I'd be off and running with it as it's my most white hot thing.
So far my experiences have been limited at best IMO.

Never part of discipline; almost always part of play.
 
I don't get the punishment of adults who've pledged to be submissive.  I don't believe in getting bratty for play; I'd rather just ask for playtime.  If I accidently, and it WOULD be accidently, do something differently than he'd asked...he'd talk to me about it and it wouldn't happen again.
 
I think rope and whips and canes and things are for play...only.

I rarely use bondage for disciplinary purposes, though it does have a time and place.

Now when it comes to play...  I enjoy breaking out the ropes, cuffs, chains, hell anything that I think might make it a bit more stimulating.  I guess it is just some fascination I have with having a girl suspended in a harness, with her breasts coned, and having access to any point of entry I choose to use without having to move myself around her.

Ah, now where did that slave get off to with my sirik....

Status: offline 		Play.  Anyone I chose to spend much time with will enjoy certain kinds of play, bondage being one of them.  Assuming here that you mean punishment when you speak of discipline...

I don't believe in using an excess of a pleasurable thing, whether it be bondage or spanking etc. as a punishment.  I believe at worst it is likely to form bad associations with that activity, changing something that was pleasurable into something dreaded or at least, not so pleasurable any more.  At best it is ineffective as punishment.

I will always choose something that they don't like at all as a punishment.  And I am not talking about punishment role play which is a different thing altogether.  I am talking about negative reinforcement during training, as opposed to positive reinforcement. 

I will choose to use

I agree, but in bondage I see dicipline as something that could be interesting  & beneficial to & for me.
I see if I'm chained to a bed and told I'm not allowed to get out it may take some serious dicipline not to wet myself if he's gone from the room a long time, or it will take a lot of dicipline to hold a pose for a few hours while some heavy rope work's going on etc...
I also see it as mental bondage giving me dicipline not to be impulsive.
For example being told I have to put my hands on the wall and not take them down while I am being heavily spanked or being electrocuted, or being told to stay perfectly still and quiet when wriggeling & making noise is almost unavoidable.
Things like that are what I think of with the term bondage dicipline.
I think using bondage for punishment also has it's place, but I hope to never experience it personally.

A sirik is a set of wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs and a colar all attached to one another by chains. bina hope's this has been helpful.

A sirik?  Wow... sounds yummie. 
 
I think I'm a sick puppy; sometimes I wear wrist/ankle restraints to bed...just cuz.   Especially if I include clips on the d-ring thingie...so they rattle & clang when I walk.  <sigh>

hmmmmmmmmm.... I think I'd prefer my leather cuffs with chain attached between them and to a collar.  Hey, since I'm just dreamin'...I can dream comfortable stuff, no?  <grinz>  Besides...while I would NEVER; those do look easy to get out of!

They are excellent, and I have found also pleasurable to the wearer.  Most that I have encountered, made, and seen, are adjustable.  Meaning that with the use of a D-ring or another clasp the longest chain can be shortened to keep a slave in almost a fetal position.  The simplicity of the sirik is also it's beauty.  On one I attached a second chain through the legs and up the back snugly attaching to the collar, to which I attached a vibrator.... the entire chain becomes an extension of the vibrator.... ah fun for all.

Status: offline 		For disipline and for play.  If something new is being done to me, being physically restained is helpful for reminding me not to pull away; to hold still.  After I have experienced x or y, we progess to  me holding still on my own...then play, play, play.  It's kind of like using training wheels to ride a bike.  Once I find my balance, then off we go.
