*Grin*

Even as I write this, I'm doing laundry.  It's my 5th load today and I have about 3 or 4 more to go.  I've made lunch for kids today (home on Spring Break) and will get the house all clean and squeaky (whatever *that* means) before my Queen comes home.  She's at "the office" - Her dungeon in downtown San Diego (She's Domina Angelina on the main site, btw) and I try really hard to make everything all nice for Her when She comes home from a hard day (HaHa!) at the office.  She calls me when She's about 30 to 45 minutes from home and I run around with my hair on fire making everything shipshape, including my self.  I try to be as "presentable" as possible when She hits the door.

Imagine June Cleaver, but with a beard (and the occasional butt plug or chastity device) and a work-at-home job that pays REALLY well.  It's heaven for me, that's for sure!  I really do consider myself to be The Luckiest Guy Around!

If it's any help, it gets Her hot, too!

Mia, I hope that you find yours soon

Hehe, I had intended to post more, but in my sleep-fogged state, I forgot ...

I already make more than Holly and rob combined - and I made more than Holly, rob and allen combined before we threw him out.  For us, we want someone who is capable of holding down a full time job, but is willing to only work part-time (or work from home if we can find someone who can successfully do that).  The rest of the time will be spent keeping up with laundry, dishes (I only wash laundry because Holly won't wash my scrubs ... and I do not do dishes), making sure that we have groceries, etc ... Now to find someone who fits all that, is good at back and foot rubs, and we can handle living with ... lol

I'd much rather have some guy who goes off to earn the money, so I could stay at home!

But then again, I'm a bit unusual by any stretch.

i very nearly took my wife's name when we married, and i frequently wish i'd gotten up the nerve to explain it to my parents (coworkers, business contacts, ad nauseum) and gone ahead with it... It's not illegal, just a big pain in the ass.

It's funny, my wife says that a lot of her female coworkers, vanilla friends, etc., tell her how jealous they are that she never has to do anything around the house... yet the world is always so short on Dommes.

My husband is my "wife." He's known in the community as either Beach's toyboy or (my favorite) Mr. Beach. Our relationship resembles a typical 1950's marriage with me as the husband role. My sweet "wife" does all the cleaning, cooking, drink fetching, back rubbing, laundry, household tasks and such. (Wife doesn't imply feminizing as we do not ever femme my boy. It implies the caretaker role.) The main difference between him and a 50's housewife (besides the penis and dress) is that he has a job outside the home and I, the husband role, do not.

In our household, D/s is carried into everyday life, and my husband defers to me in all things. As with any 1950's "wife," this doesn't mean he doesn't have a voice. It means mine is the final one. I am the voice of authority and the final word on all things. We do not do "submissive in the bedroom" role play. We are Domme and sub and live as such. That doesn't mean he has to kiss my feet or crawl around the house. It means his attitude is always one of servitude and submission.

I highly recommend the male "wife" mode of living.

I have thought about this, but I honestly don't know if I am mature enough for this, but it would be a wonderful life.

Why is everyone convinced that Holly is the one posting?  I'm not offended or anything, I'm just curious ... particularly when I talk about her rather than myself (Karen) ... This is the third or fourth time recently that I've been called Holly - I'm confused lol

Originaly Angel was suposed to have been my little housewife, had our relationship gone that way.  It didnt, sadly, and we are quite happily pursuing a different route.  I would love to meet a male, sub or vanilla, who could be my wife.  I know my former marriage was a disaster becasue we both wanted to be the man in the family and his ego couldnt handle the fact that I was better at it than he was even though he was the one born with the plumbing. I tend to prefer my boyfriends femenine and demure anyway, so I dont see why a male wife might be out of reach, either. AS for a name, itll depend on what our names are.  After having gone through a marriage and divorce and the associated name changes, I am not sure I would do that again.. to either of us.

Okay, okay,  i'm about to engage in rampant trolling.  How about a man who receives retirement checks?  More income from him, yet he's home to attend to all those domestic chores which bore You?  Hmm?

Was that specifically directed at me?  Or is that to the group in general.
For me, it would greatly depend on the age of said retiree.  If it is going to be my life partner, and wife, I would not want them to be 25 or more years older than me.  So if they retired from the workforce for age reasons... I might not be as interested as if it were someone retired early from some other field. When it comes to subs or slaves in general, I prefer them my age or younger becasue they are my partner.

Sorry DV, I hope you get your male wife one day.  By the way male wives do not have to be feminine and demure.
You would be surprised the "tough" guys that want to be wifes, in fact my potential is in law enforcement.
He even told me he would wear the wedding gown, imagine that, the tough law guy in the wedding gown.

My man doesn't have a feminine bone in his body.  Even when he's cooking in an apron.

Never said they had to be.  Thats how I like them *grin* I have had partners that were big, macho and far more domestic than I will ever be. My personal preference is little effeminate males in general.

I care far less about what they look like and far more about their abilities to serve me and
be a wonderful wife!  As long as I don't mind being seen in public with them, looks don't matter much to me.
Tall, short, feminine, masculine, drop dead gorgeous, or king kong---The main question is? can you cook and
clean? are you willing to work hard to make my life comfortable? can you give great massages and foot rubs?

I want someone whom I can enjoy all manner of BDSM activities with who is also capable of being a great wife!
I want it all!
Hell yeah, I want it all....now where is the damn chastity belt?

Looks definitely don't matter to us - although I will admit, when judging by looks alone, that I'm typically most attracted to ultra-masculine types, androgynous types, and not much else LOL

I had not given it much thought but reading this thread has made me realize that being the male "wife" in a male/female relationship is just what I am seeking.  The relationship described by BeachMystress could be turned into my new Collarme profile.  I can handle the housework but I would need to learn to cook.

I definitely think the "male wife" mode of living has much to recommend it.  In many vanilla relationships, the wife is the boss at home so it allows a man to live as a submissive without threatening his masculine image.  As has been noted in other threads, it's easier for a man to be submissive than to admit he is submissive especially to other men.   But being in a relationship with a strong or bossy woman is pretty much accepted by most men these days and provides good "cover" for a submissive nature.  He would, of course, have to be a good sport about being called "pussy whipped".

Congratulations BayouSub!  Many men want/need this dynamic and don't realize
that it is possible, it is.
Most women welcome it, and guess what? The more you make your Dominant happy-->
the more she will make sure her little wife is happy.  It is a win/win situation, and the
thought of my sub WANTING to learn to cook my favorite dishes makes me hot.
