But honestly, it's not really all that common - some don't want the emotional attachment that would go along with being a male wife (or sub husband - whichever phrase you prefer) ... some don't want them to do the housework ... the only common thing is that we all want what we want. It appears to be common if you look at the posts here, but if you check the personals side ... you'd swear that less than 1/4 of us actually want this (based on all the "you aren't even allowed to look at me, worm" profiles there are out there).

MzMia and Akasha, pretty much since I was a teenager I have wanted what I then called a "house husband". Do you remember the movie Mr Mom with Micheal Keaton? On one hand I am surprised that with so many male subs, most don't have a 'male wife'. On the other hand with so many of them who say that is what they want and are no shows I am not. I guess I fit the roll of the 'wife' but have looked at it as live in housekeeper/ cook with a part time job.

I have am very new to the lifestyle and the idea of me being a male wife is very attractive. I am recently divorced, and although i am not fully ready for a full 24/7 relationship yet, I could see myself working towards a role like a male wife.
