I'm with Mia, don't know why you decided to pick on her with all the other stuff floating around.

However, that's not what I would want - the poor boy would get burnt out very quickly.  I'd much rather have a wife who only worked part time and took care of the house so that I wouldn't have to deal with it when I get home from work.  I happen to like my job most of the time, and don't intend to quit working any time soon.  Having a boy to take care of the house without him being burnt out or resentful ... that's what we're looking for.

And how, exactly, do you propose to do that?  A male wife implies that you are at home when you are being said male wife ... to be a male wife for one person, and then go home ... kind of defeats the purpose, IMO.

I would gladly become somenes wife. Of course since I am m2f trans this option becomes blurred in the actual male part. Though I am geneticly male, my heart and soul are definatly female. I also love the idea of a 50's type household and I do my best living that in my own home here on Long Island.
So ladies if you do seek that in your partner I suggest you look more towards trans men who's heart and soul are female yet reside in a males body.
BTW the work option is not out of the question Ive raised my 2 sons and owned my own business and care for my household on my own for the past 12 years. I guess you can say I am my own wife...lol

I know you asked the question for other women but as a submissive man the idea of being a male wife is overwhelming. While in today's vanella marriages men and women appear to be equals, in this lifestyle the impression is he female would rule with an iron hand so to speak and the male wife will scamper at all times to please her. That is not only so hot but it seems like a lifestyle that can sustain itself indefinately

I'm sure it's been said before (but I didn't read more than 10 of the 30 pages..), but I do not want a wife.  I want a slave. 

In my mind, wives can hide things from their husbands, have an equal(ish) vote in the day to day life of the couple, and take off with their girlfriends if they get annoyed. 

But yes, doing the dishes is a good thing.

Fess up. You just don't want to get a job.  Not that I'm saying that's a BAD thing, yanno, just be real.  [8D]  Take a rare woman that could support me the way I have become accustomed, anyway.  (DIG that hole a little deeper, HK!!!! Hahahahaha)

The idea of being a male wife definitely intrigues me.  Even if were a totally non-D/s relationship, I think I'd rather reverse the traditional roles to the extent that I'd rather do the housework and laundry and let her do the lawn and garden -- I've just always hated yard work. :) 

The scenario I've often thought of is to be a full-time housewife for a couple, either straight or lesbian -- a prosperous and preferably childless couple could afford to support a third person.  The details could vary -- though I admit I would want to cross-dress for it.  It could be that my part would strictly be the housework and errands and as long as that gets done I'm on my own.  Or it could be a more D/s and or forced fem situation, where I would be required to behave much more subserviently, perhaps dressing as a 50's television housewife (cooking dinner in heels and pearls), and subject to discipline, either for correction or just for amusement.  My duties might or might not include providing sexual satisfaction when my mates desire it, with the understanding that their needs in this area (and all others) take total precedence over mine -- in the case of a lesbian couple, I imagine being kept in a chastity device full-time and only allowed to ejaculate occasionally. 

I don't really know how one would go about looking for such a situation, nor am I sure I could explain it to my friends and family very easily -- but boy would it be tempting!

This is the realtionship I seek . I would even give up the double income. Unfortunately, my pet, petie will not give up the double income. He likes to live a comfortable life but I can rough it. I think the male wife will come to full bloom after retirement for us. Meanwhile he cooks , cleans etc..and does it all much better than I,   I just wish he could stay home all day and be there whenever I get there waiting like a puppy.

Wow... this is one long Thread!   I think I didn't find the role reversal thing mentioned until about page 18.. not sure so many pages!  
Many TG people seek the wife thing as a fantasy, some actually get to live in the femme role.  Now in trying to sift through all the posts I see that most of the ladies are basically strt females that seek males as males.  It would be wrong (imho) to think the ladies would want feminized males.  (imho) again.
Now there is the thing of equality between genders, and that most likely won't be mentioned in strt relationships that are based on strt women and men even though the men may cross-dress. 
I don't see me as wife material to a strt woman.  hell, I don't see me as a wife to anyone!  I do see me in my new kitchen and dining room cooking for my lady friends that Love and respect me as the woman I am and have been for many yrs.  I love being around women, I love being around assertive women even more. I've actually become an assertive business woman myself!  (Sometimes guys think I'm picking em up when I give em my business card! oh yeah.. I've a bit of angry feminist still in me! )   All that aside, I found out this littlegirl is hiding deep within my psyche.  The lady I was seeing tapped right into it!  She was lesbian, I guess I'm lesbian now too!   I feel equal with the women I hang out with and it's great feeling. I don't know if strt dommes feel that way about postop females.  I met a femdom domme a few months ago and it was not pleasant.. she seemed to think I was a submissive male, really hurt my feelings!  well we talked. then she suggested I should be a Domme also.  Well that's not for me.  (the equality thing again)  I have however,  found that I'm a somewhat submissive female around females.  Possibly I could be a lesbian wife.. don't know I could however be a lady's doll!  Hope I didn't offend anyone I tried to be tactful in my thoughts!

I had two relationships where I worked and they stayed home and took care of me.  I loved it!  It was looked at oddly by others around us as this was during the late seventies and early eighties.  Neither relationship was supposed to be for life and was started pretty much without a plan.  It just worked out that way.  One worked part time from home, but when I was home or needed him to do something, that is what he did.  It really made life very easy! lol

I can't have that type of relationship now... but man... it was nice! lol  sniff, sniff

I know a Mistress who's thinking about accepting a slave's marriage proposal so he can be her slave husband. She talked to me and some of her other mistress friends what to do if he changes to be less sub down the road because their married. I guess she's wondering if marriage gives him too much control as a slave. I don't think so. The guys I've been training know better and they've learned that they're the slave no matter what. (Oh how I love training men!!) I'd always hold all the cards and keep him on a really short leash.
