Does everyone include feminization (at least at home) in this concept?

No.

But isn't the answer a bit obvious when using an absolute like "everyone" in your question?

I actually had a slave once that ran a sucessful business, came home at 5:30PM, cooked dinner, served me, massaged me every single night and on weekends cleaned and did laundry.

Sounds like a reasonable arrangement to me... as long as there's 2 hours x 3 days a week for the gym set aside, and another 7 1/2 hours daily for sleep.

Whoops... It just occurred to me that I forgot to work in 30-60 minutes a day for reading. But since I get home at 5:05pm, and watch very little fairy-tale/make-believe television, this 30-60 minutes really shouldn't present much of a problem... [;)]

No, actually, I don't include feminization in anything.  If I wanted a girl, rather than a boy, I would get one.

I want a "male" wife, but I want him to be all man.

I'm right there with you.  I've never considered the term "male wife" probably because I've got a husband.  It does have a cute little ring to it.

My husband is my "wife." He's known in the community as either Beach's toyboy or (my favorite) Mr. Beach. Our relationship resembles a typical 1950's marriage with me as the husband role. My sweet "wife" does all the cleaning, cooking, drink fetching, back rubbing, laundry, household tasks and such. (Wife doesn't imply feminizing as we do not ever femme my boy. It implies the caretaker role.) The main difference between him and a 50's housewife (besides the penis and dress) is that he has a job outside the home and I, the husband role, do not.

In our household, D/s is carried into everyday life, and my husband defers to me in all things. As with any 1950's "wife," this doesn't mean he doesn't have a voice. It means mine is the final one. I am the voice of authority and the final word on all things. We do not do "submissive in the bedroom" role play. We are Domme and sub and live as such. That doesn't mean he has to kiss my feet or crawl around the house. It means his attitude is always one of servitude and submission.

I highly recommend the male "wife" mode of living.

This sounds like an ideal life. Congratulations on making it work for you both.

Regards,
Ms. Rose.

When I read the book "Venus on Top",  I realized that being a male wife was very appealing to me.  The domestic duties fall naturally on the man (who acts a helpmate to the woman). Major decisions are made jointly (its a genuine partnership),  but the woman has the final "tie breaker" vote in all things as head of household.

I would still want to work at least part time though - I really do need the mental stimulation and the challenge of it.  And as far as taking my partner's name, I'm a bit undecided on that idea, since really it is her father's name handed down.

Agreed.
I think with Me working full time, having a man who works part time and also takes care of the household would be ideal.  I don't relish the idea of supporting him totally.  Also I don't mind if he agrees to doing all the household duties, but I need to be the Queen in the kitchen.  I adore cooking and creating meals.  Other than that, yes please, I'll take a male wife.

With kind regard,
~Kara

I'm glad to know others have actually made my male wife fantasy a reality.
I would have to amend mine to include that he would be allowed/encouraged to work outside of the home and I of course would do a few chores. Somewhere inbetween a 50's household and a modern household... I guess that would make it a 70's household. Just as long as he shaves the chest hair and wears panties, it's heaven.

AcademyForSlaves -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (4/27/2007 9:58:06 PM)

I would love a male wife.

It must obey my every order, cook my meals, do the dishes, and have energy to fool around in bed afterwards.

nikkicd10 -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (4/28/2007 3:31:06 AM)

i am a male wife, we have been married 3 years, she does not require me to work, i stay home and maintain the home in every area.  She does nothing in the home, except relax and get waited on by me.

i do have the choice to work, and i have a career that allows me to work when and where i choose.  i am also allowed to clean homes of other Mistresses in our area when my work is complete in our home.

In both the BDSM and vanilla worlds everyone knows i am a stay at home sub/husband and soon a stay at home father.  When we got married her profession had more stability then mine, (i work as a writer) and she earns more than enough to support us.  Any money i earn go into a general savings fund.

She likes her proffession, i serve her in every way and we are both happy.

i hope you don't mind i posted my thoughts

Of course we don't mind you posting nikkicd, we encourage it!
What a wonderful post, your Mistress is lucky to have you.

You have a solid relationship, the best of both worlds.
Good luck to you both, I would enjoy seeing you both post here.
Some of us need the encouragement, thank you so much for sharing.

Mysia -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (4/29/2007 10:22:51 AM)

On the note of names, my sub uses my last name on non-legal documents, and uses the first name I gave him. All will be perm when I decide to marry him to me.

While I don't refer to him as my wife, and never will, I can see where his duties around the house would classify him as a housewife. I don't allow him to work outside the home. He does work at home, tends the kids, learns, gardens, bakes and all that. However, we often (as a family) do these things together.

I have a very similar arrangement with my boi, wimpy.  Except that he works from home and I am office based - but that gives him the opportunity to get the chores done through the day...

I  highly recommend having a boywife!!

Mistress Venus

Were they baked from scratch by a male wife?

Sorry, I just had to do it.  *Laughs*

maledave7 -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (5/15/2007 3:31:06 AM)

Our mother had taught my brother and me to do housework besides our sisters. She felt that her sons should be able to do any kind of housework. She felt we should do more than just yard work. I work full-time and still enjoy doing housework.
I would really enjoy being a male wife. I hope someday to find a woman looking for one unless she finds me first.
