I've gotten messages from people in Texas, Iowa, and even California. With as far as they are from me, I don't really understand why they would look so far away. I guess I was just wanting to ask the other subs/slaves out there, how far would you go for a Dom/Domme/Master/Mistress? crosses fingers hoping luckyalbatross has some links [:)] edited for typo hehe

were i not owned, i think i'd try to avoid developing a relationship at a distance... but if that relationship did develop, after taking the time to get to know the other party (plus some significant real-time face-to-face); i would not allow distance to be an issue

I live in Georgia. I 'nearly' moved to Oregon to be with someone a few years back. The situation ended up changing and I did not end up going. No hard feelings, just changes occurred to both of us. I'm not afraid of leaving where I'm at. I would be nervous to know if I can make the same type of income I have now, but for the right person and right situation I can afford to downgrade a bit. That wasn't always true. Jeff

I am not really able to travel at this time, due to work and family commitments, but I have had several Doms contact me who were apparently willing to travel across the country to at least meet me. I was really surprised, because I consider a great distance to be a limiting factor, and also figured surely there must be subs more easily accessible than me.

I would move to any Western country with my partner if it was our only option, or I'd bring him here. I've gone as far as Scotland and as close as the next town down the road. Currently I'm with someone I've brought over from Texas, which is about as far away as we could have been and still remained on the same continent.

My girl anne is in AZ. I'm in NC. We've been together just over two years. Of course, I'm getting ready to move to AZ, but when we first started, that actually wasn't an option. It became and option afterward. Master Fire

I was in Las Vegas when Angel and I met. He was and is in Nashville. The distance was never much of an issue, though we didnt originaly know I was going to move. We just knew we wanted to be together and however it was going to happen, it was going to work out. I moved here about 3 months ago. DV

Greetings i was contemplating a move to Texas to be with someone a year ago. Things fell apart between us and i remained in California. After that, i didn't think i'd wish to leave where i am. It's a beautiful place, and even though i'm in the middle of orange groves for miles, i love it here. But, then i met my Master. He lives in Canada. The plan is for me to get my real estate salesperson license, start saving money, get my divorce finallized, and work on legalities of moving myself and my UMs to Canada. He has plans to work on as well while we're awaiting the day the UMs and i can move, and once all things are in place, we will be moving there. So, while i wasn't looking to move, i'm ending up going 1000+ miles to be with my One....and i couldn't be happier about it - because i'll be with the One i love. Well wishes -santalia{JR}t

No links :) The internet is popular because it erases borders. Why be stuck with the population only in a physical limited location when you can access a much bigger pool? Now, they should respect you when you say "I'm not looking for long distance" and in fact I wish people WOULD get off the dang computer more and find what's out there so they don't have to torture themselves or fool themselves through an LDR. But it's a perfectly reasonable method to find people, and some don't care about distance much.

santalia, I am going the other way. I live in Canada and working on moving to be with Master in the USA. I wish you all the best on getting things organized. I know it seems to take ages and lots of red tape to get things organized. Take care

I could not handle a long distance relationship i crave his touch. I was looking for someone in the NY area Preferably (since NY is a large state) the Long Island NYC area. I was lucky Master onloy lives a half hour away. Matt;s littleone

It really would depend on the person. There a some people I have encountered online that I would not even get out of my chair and walk across the street to meet. Others distance wouldn't matter, if I connected and felt it was worth my time.
