Oh yeah, a few of you are Lobo fans! Gotta love that guy. Feedles Giz!

But I still think my all time favorite is The Hulk. I was always drawn to that character. And I have still yet to see a movie do that character justice.

I fully agree with Eartha Kitt.  Also, since I was more a fan of villian I liked Magneto and Enchantress.   Enchantress from the few comics I saw really had that domme thing going, mmmmmmmmm.

Greetings all,

Mystique is her all time favorite - probably the Silver Surfer after that.

well wishes,

I am, and always will be, a web-head. The only superhero that even comes close to Spider-Man for me is Superman, I'd say they're pretty neck-and-neck Yeah, I know, they're not edgy or gritty, they don't shoot people or cause as much collateral damage as possible. They're not "mature". They actually, ya know, try to do the right thing...because it's the right thing. Novel concept. And Spider-Man and I have a history. That was the first comic book I ever picked up, an issue of The Amazing Spider-Man from the 90s. My first ever graphic novel was Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 1: Power and Responsibility. That's some deep shit for a kid.

I just like capes in general, though. My first love in comics is the superhero story.

Ahhhh yeah, Black Beauty, thats right. Yeah I liked the series with Bruce Lee but it seems hard to find anymore. I know my dad still has the tapes from the really old ones done in the 40s but ive been trying to find the Bruce Lee ones. But yeah owning a newspaper is cool although I don't know if that translates super well to today's world...but maybe today he could own an online publishing house! As long as he kept the outfit everythings solid.

When I was a little girl my favorite hero was Wonder Woman, my Mom even bought me a Wonder Woman costume :) I think I wore it out. The tiara and bracelets were my favorite part of the costume, I'm sure I even tried to go to school dressed in it a few times
Batman became my hero of choice as a teen, all brooding darkness and just a human trying to make a diffrence.

And of course I can't forget Super Grover.

I thought this thread was going to last about 5 minutes before it floated away, but it seems to be quite popular. Who is seeing Spider-man tonight at Midnight?!

If anyone's interested, I can hunt down the links about what a kinky person the creator of Wonder Woman really was.

Wonder Woman often got tied up or chained up or otherwise bound in the early comics. And it was no coincidence. Nor is it any "Wonder" that she should be popular in our little community. She was created by one of us, I would almost say, created for us.

That would be interesting to see. Although I still want that damned lasso of truth of hers.

The Wikipedia article has a little about it, but it is missing those outrageous pictures. If someone could post some Wonder Woman pics of her tied up, that would be cool. Do they allow that on here?

I take it you mean Yvonne Craig.  Now there is a BABE! She still lives in Orange County.  She was one of the girls in the Beach Blanket Movies, which was filmed in Newport Beach.  A rumor was that the female leading star of the movies was not happy with her..seems she had a bigger bust.  She played in many movies and TV series.  She was in one of the orginal Star Trek shows as a Green Orion Slave Girl and performed a dance that got William Shatner going, she was one of the few women on that series that turned him down.  It was the same for Elvis Presely when she was in one of his movies.

The Black Beauty Car of the 60s series is privatly owned.  I understand the guy can't get insureance so he does not show the car off.   It is my understanding that when Brandon Lee died the Family still having some control over Bruce Lee Estate stop giving permission to show his movies and such.  The  40s series was available at one time and perhaps still is.

Gotta be Buzz Lightyear or Mr. Incredible!

Then again, I've been told (repeatedly) that I resemble both. Often by strangers. My nickname (IRL) is 'Buzz'

<sigh>

Is that a good thing? :-)

Bondage covers in comics has a long history; Wonder Woman is the tip of the iceberg.

Pardon me. As a resident "Trekkie", I MUST speak! (Photo of me with my "The Star Trek Encyclopedia: A Reference Guide to the Future" available, upon request)

Yvonne Craig did NOT turn Capt. Kirk down. She tried to make love to him and then, stab him. The name of the episode was "Whom Gods Destroy".
