Laziness.  Hmmmm.   Would a Mistress and a 24/7 get me out of laziness?
What are some other ways to not be lazy in the lifestyle?
The laziness is only away from work.

Part of it depends on your reason for being lazy.  Is it because you are simply exhausted?  Not getting enough sleep or eating correctly?  Under too much stress and just unwilling to do anything?

Being in a 24/7 relationship does not fix problems like that unless you are looking for someone to continually hold punishment over your head.  That is very tiring for a Mistress, and most won't want to put up with it.  Check your core issues first and see if you can get to the bottom of it.

Hi Chamberqueen.

I am not exhasuted.  I get plenty of sleep.  I have to much time on my hands away from work.

Does that help narrow what my situation is and how it can be made better?

Ways to get over laziness:

1.  Get 6-8 hours of sleep each night, eat a sensible diet, and excersise regularly.
2.  Remind yourself that many dominant women will not tolerate a lazy submissive and many won't even bother with him from the start.
3.  As soon as you see something that needs to be done, do it.  Don't put it off.
4.  Practice steps 1 - 3 until you are no longer lazy.

Knowing you have a problem or fault that you want to work on is half the battle.  A dominant is not going to "make" you less lazy, though.  If you want to work to please her, you will.  I don't know any dominants who want to remake someone from scratch, monitor them endlessly, or get into the "punish me" game.  You're an adult.  Act like one.  What do you think will help you be less lazy?  Structure in your life?  A list to follow?  Or are you looking to have someone wave her crop and magically alter a lifelong quality?

This sums it up pretty well, especially #2. I will not tolerate laziness, it is a total turnoff to me.

Thank You for the reply.

I am not lazy at work.  Only away from work.
Is that important?

Thank You for replying.

My follow up:  No one is perfect.  I have a laziness issue.  I am motivated to work on myself.
I want to do good, but the structure is not there.  So, I was looking at changin the structure i am live in to get out of laziness....and 24/7 seems like a structure that brgins out the best in me.

And now for the 100K question: what does the dominant get out of this setup, exactly?

Well do you have a Mistress? If so discuss this with her, if not then you will have to begin your search for one. Just be sure to tell her about the laziness issue upfront. That is something you would not want to "spring" on someone as you may find the outcome from it most unpleasant.

Good luck,
~Lashra

It is not uncommon for someone to work very hard while at work and then become a couch potato at home.  It is good that you recognize something in yourself that you want to change.

Being involved with a Domme that is interested in giving you tasks can be very helpful.  However, I can't stress strongly enough that looking at a 24/7 relationship to cure you of your laziness is not healthy for either of you.  Few women would tolerate that.  Your reasons for wanting to serve should have a much stronger foundation than a means of self help.

Right here.  You are already being lazy.  You are trying to get someone else to FIX your laziness for you.  Grow up.  Follow the prescribed steps I already provided you.  When you are no longer lazy perhaps then you will be ready for the 24/7 you wish to enter.  I would NOT enter into a 24/7 TPE relationship with anyone who I have to fix.  To stop being lazy, you MUST STOP being lazy. Period.

Btw, Oregon is lovely.  Yes, it is rainy.

So... Mr Lazy would do all these things because why?  And since cleaning the dominant's house isn't on your current list of tasks, then how would that solve your other issues?

Also, 24/7 does not necessarily mean live-in.

The Domme would get a lot out of it.

She would proud to have a sub like me to show off to Her friends.

I would do the tasks and errands She does not like to do.

This is the kind of line I get from every wannabe who wants my attention.  WHY would you do the things for Ms Mystery Date that you would not do for yourself?

Re:  WHY would you do the things for Ms Mystery Date that you would not do for yourself?

It's my nature to please and it motivates me.

For example, my house is clean if i know others are coing over.  But if no on e is coing over, then my house is not as clean.
