I don't believe my religion has anything to with my BDSM proclivities. I don't think I am damned for doing what I do.

The only time this ever influences me is when I scream out "Oh My God!" at the right time during these activities.

Actually the last 2 dates I've been on (with an endlessly lovely lady ) 4 different people have wandered over to me and tried to save my immortal soul...

God is at least as fucked up as your typical serial killer..

Remember Cain... and what God did about that? That's right, God marked Cain... so that everyone Cain met would KNOW life just got tougher. It's Gods favorite killer. Don't expect any help.

Why does anyone suppose God is the Good Guy?

Remember all those religious wars? With God on both sides. Yeah. That's right.

And remember how things went for the Israelites?

Driven into 400 years under the yoke of Pharaoh by famine. Famine is an act of God, ain't it.

40 years in the wilderness. Led about, by the nose, by God.

Turns out, the promised land belonged to someone else. God said, "No big deal. Kill them. Take their stuff." That's what makes god the good guy. He delivers on his promises.

Then the Romans show up. Make complete asses of themselves. For fun AND profit. What does God do about it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MYI-uRPowI

So, as anyone should be able to easily see, God is heavily in BDSM.

Invite your friend to watch the movie with you. Then jump him.

I've got a question..I just told a friend about me being on cm and that i would like to get to know more abiut bsdn. And thay said it was wrong that i would go to hell because its all the devil's play.but ive meet people on here the believe in gid and go to church... just wanted some feed back

First of all...King David killed a shit load of wives, their husbands...if you want to see BDSM at its extreme....CBT doesn't even come close to what King David did (and last I checked...he sits on the "Right hand of God"...so I'm thinking some vinyl, latex and a nice little slur could go a long way to Heaven...in more ways than one).

You can go to Hell for a lot more shit than having fun.

I think you'll find that most Christian faiths believe in a trinity and that God, the son (Jesus) sits at the right hand of God, the Father.

I think King David is reduced to a celestial bellhop.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Like I said before, these are my beliefs. Yours may vary. I've studied the bible enough over my entire life to be able to decide for myself what I believe God wanted for us and I pray, talk and listen to God which helps.

I am neither a christian or a Jew but I probably do come closer to to Judaism than anything else but since I don't believe every single law of both I am my own religion. Yes I go to church but it's more because I like my pastor and he doesn't just preach the bible on Sundays. He listens and asks questions of the audience and allows us to figure out our own way.

Lately I've been writing down my own views of the bible, God, and laws. I've got a long way to go though until it is finished.

If you're going to make up your own religion anyway why not pick something less sexually repressive?

why? read the bible. I have no need to blabber on about my beliefs. If I wanted to do that, I would give a dissertation and charge people for a lecture.

I've read the Bible but as you've pointed out you don't actually follow the Bible, you're making up your own thing. Reading the Bible isn't going to help my know what you've made up.

Yet you have done just that:

This raises the question, what's wrong with premarital sex?

I didn't say I don't believe in the bible. I simply think it has been misinterpreted.
As for premarital sex, yes I've had premarital sex and I'm not proud of it whatsoever. I wish I had waited but we are all young and stupid at one point. And while Master and I are not technically married, I like to think God sees us as married because we have been committed to each other for so many years within the eyes of God. My views on marriage have zero, zilch to do with what we consider marriage today. That piece of paper is just a legal condition, not marriage where you vow to be in a covenant with God.

I am giving a simple view on my beliefs. The question of this topic never asked me to post a dissertation or lecture. This is a forum, not a college auditorium or religious news magazine.

When I've finished my book in the very far future I'll be sure to let you know where you can buy it.

oh hell no!

more like fifty shades of red.

Gotta finish the first one though but I'll be sure to start putting thoughts into that one and I'm sure Master will be more than happy to supply more "info" for it.

I know, historical accuracy was the main concern here and they failed...
