No, I said that those break-ins previously alluded to were when I lived in dumps 30 years ago like where you live now, and there I was ripped off by white punks. I don't mean to be so disparaging to them, I did some pretty stupid things at the time myself.

The black kid broke in to my place (or tried to) in a better neighborhood, some years later.

A You didn't give a time frame, though it many have been obvious to you what you meant.
B You didn't say in a place like were I live you said people like me.
C What difference did their race make to you, it doesn't matter to me.
D The mention that the other kid was black undermines the biggotry of the first statment particularly since you try to minimise the crime committed by the black kid..
E Did you move again after the second breakin, because whether you like it or not it was a break in. After all moving would be the responsible thing to do.

I've moved at least five times since. That last one was ~ 20+ years ago. That apartment was between one house and the next in any case.

I thought I'd never be not in a house, but here I am in a condo, no mortgage payments.

I ran in fear of mortgage payments, so it seems. And a dog chased me to it. I had to hide somewhere.

I on the other hand stuck it out and we are taking back to area.
A few years ago there were flashing lights 3-4 times a week.
We have progressed to the point where there hasn't been anything like that in a couple of years.
If you have the guts to stay and stand up to the thug eliment you can win.
Why did you think it was even true that you were surrounded by " people like me" when you clearly don't even know what people like me are like.
Why did it matter to you what color the criminals where.
How could you possibly know that evry criminal in one area were white , did they catch every one. Of course not, you just wanted to bring race into it.
And then you make the absurd claims that breaking into you apartment was only an attempted breakin, he was inside. He wasn't impressed by you demener, he was starteled by you being home.

No, I calmly walked into a RE agent's office to obtain a better place for rent or sale, as circumstances allowed and life progressed, like 98% of everyone else does. I already stated that I didn't give a crap and didn't care about where I lived the first couple or three years, as a teenager on my own. I walked in front of every abode in the neighborhood and got invited to or invited myself into at least half of them. Hard to do that if you live in fear. While you were apparently trembling in fear in your own little living room, too afraid to go out.. And you're trying to talk to someone else about 'facing up'?

Unlike you, I did all that without a gun or any other weapon, and without being on government dole then or now, whereas you OTOH have been your whole life. You've never lived a moment without someone else taking care of you in one way or another. Thanks for confirming whose the real chickenshit here.
