I'd be inclined to shovel slop in front of them, then make myself something yummy. Sooner or later curiosity tends to take over, and they may well compare what you're eating rather favourably with what they're eating.

Or they're just philistines at heart and there's no hope for them :)

Status: offline 		I admit today I probably pissed off another ebay user who thought he got his item for 13.50.....until my offer came in 4 seconds before the end, pushing it up to 30.05

I admit I hate that I missed out on it and hope to get the current final one of those for cheaper than that..., though I doubt

I admit the downside is that on the final one, one part of it is just a copy and not the original, which impacts on the ability to re-sell it...damn copyright

I admit that either way I fucking sake want it the next time

Status: offline 		I admit it they are younger than I, but so very stuck in their ways.  I do make their slop & then make myself something I like, but they only look at it or smell it & go "Eeeeewwwww!!!  How can you eat that???"  Every now & again, they want something that I like, so I pull my portion out before I heavily salt theirs like they want.  I've been told that I'm not allowed to cook fish because the wife dislikes it.  Along with onions.  Thank you for feeling sorry for me.  Some days I feel pretty alone in that.  LOL

But my sister lives just 25 miles away & I can go there & cook all the yummy stuff I want.  Or we go out to nice restaurants which serve real food.  Hmmmmm....I admit it I am getting very very hungry!!!

It’s juvenile, but if anyone said “how can you eat that?” to me, I’d say “like THIS!” and proceed to scoff :)

(I’ve done that before with people who complain about me eating Steak Tartare)

Status: offline 		I admit that I have been fighting a panic attack ever since my matriculation arrived in the post this morning.
I admit that I feel like this is my chance, and that I am scared (hopefully not out of my mind) that I might fuck up.
I admit that when I consider that even now the day has often not enough hours, I fear that I lost my mind when I decided to go for it.
I admit that I feel a bit sorry for the Guy and the Boys, as the had a stay at home mum/wife until now, and University will be taking up a lot of my time.
I admit that I also feel a bit smug about it. They just might realise what I have been doing all those years.
I admit that I blew a small fortune on cleaning supplies today.
I admit that I get in the groove for a major house cleaning much better with shining new supplies.
I admit that I am planning on an really epical house overhaul before the semester starts in April.
I admit that I fear it will have to last till I am done with University .

I admit that all of the above considered, I am still determined to reach my goal of a doctorate before I turn 40. Frightened and with a house in a permanent state of chaos or not, I will do it.

I admit that I love to cook, and that I am very good at it.  One of my few truly useful skills.

I admit that my ex-husband only eats pasta, burgers and hot dogs, and steak.  He also upended a salt shaker on everything before even tasting it.  I hated cooking for him.

I admit my ex-dom prefers go eat boxed crap and will not touch vegetables.  He also upended a bottle of hotsauce on everything before even tasting it.  I hated cooking for him.

I admit that it's hreatbreaking to slave over a meal for hours, getting the combination of flavors and spices just right, only to have it treated the way those two did.

I admit that Alpha loves me cooking and is willing to be adventurous and try everything I make.  I am finally happy in the kitchen again.

I admit that it would be lovely to have someone else cook for me sometime, though.  I would tru RF's cooking anytime.

I admit it there are worse things than a messy house.

I admit it when I went to school & was working 20 hours/week every weekend & was a single mom, my house was the neatest & cleanest it's ever been, mainly because I never had a day to put things of to.   So I did a little bit every day, working it in between classes, cooking & hoomework.

I admit it you might just be surprised at yourself.

I admit I took this pic just for you, to hopefully inspire you, if only a tiny bit, to continue your battle against the philistines ... I realise it doesn't look very appealing, coz it's not that kind of "flashy" dish, but trust me when I say the flavour balance of capers, anchovies, olive oil, chilli (I made it extra spicy tonight!) and the rest was perfectly balanced by the parsley and white wine sauce, which reduced to a thick, moppable (with olive ciabatta) gunge :)

The squid was tender, yet firm, the sauce spicy, yet savoury and balanced. You're more than welcome to the recipe (as is anyone else).

Apologies for the crappy mobile phone colour of the pic too – my main one’s on charge:
