I admit - thank god - I found my damn wallet...

I admit it takes off a shit load of stress, not having to search that one anymore...and just being able now to focus on further decluttering my stuff

I admit I am very glad that Pheonix found the missing wallet
I admit I was not so lucky. :(
I admit it is a MAJOR pain in the ass replacing everything.
I admit I ate fast food today for the first time in many many months
I admit that after 4 bites I threw it away. Blech.

I admit I had planned to make H a steak for dinner and I admit I have slapped steak (scientific interest) with a wooden spoon, it's not a bad sound effect (if could be a cost effective way for tenderizing meat)

I admit I got a call for a potential job today only to find out that it is impossible for me to get to it. :-(
I admit they put me into their PRN pool for all of their offices I can reasonably get to by bus...
I admit I will take what I can get at this point and if the job wasn't completely off the bus routes altogether I would have taken it!
I admit maybe my job search will turn into a job now that I am getting offers again!

I admit, Lady C, you're going to need something considerably heavier and packing way more wallop if you're going to attempt to tenderize meat. One of those lego-looking square metal blocks w/a handle comes to mind. I think they're called "tenderizing mallets".
I admit I could be wrong about the nomenclature. Stranger things have happened than my being wrong about something.

I admittedly extend congrat's to Phoenix for finding the wallet. Where was it, out of curiosity?
I admit that Ashjor has told me that the Dutch officials will be moving him to another facility on the 10th & that the processing will commence on the 13th.
I admit I've read about the process & encouraged him to tell them that he's highly educated because they welcome people who seek to further their education and this, in my opinion, can only serve to increase his chances with successful integration.

I admit I have been in close-to-chronic pain since October, when E. coli bacteria began squatting in the space previously occupied by my rectal cancer, which had just been evicted.

I admit the pain ranges in severity from two to eight.

I admit I'm on pain meds to help manage it.

I admit my mother is obsessed with the fear that I'll become an addict.

I admit I walked her through my history of using pain meds responsibly and always stopping when the pain stopped: broken foot in '89, broken arm in '92, throat surgery in '08.

I admit she recognizes that but remains suffused with anxiety.

I admit I don't have the energy to add her anxiety to my plate right now.

I admit I honestly regret having called my folks tonight.

I admit I hope that dc novice feels & gets better soon. I admit that I cannot help thinking that his mother should be more concerned about his health and his not being in pain than about whether the medication will turn him into a junkie of sorts. I admit I think her anxiety is misplaced.
