What an interesting topic. The fights could be considered "tryouts" for those males desiring slave positions. After the fight, the winner would do as he was told to the loser and the loser would show his appreciation as directed by the Ladies. Any male who disobeys in the slightest, would be banned from any possibility of slavery for life.

related note: Back in the day I used to have an Ides of March party on March 15th that would last through to my Bday on the 18th. A huge bacchanal that I really loved to throw. We would have Roman Games and Competitions. Subbie Olympics lol.  Subbies would compete in wrestling, pony races etc. I'm seriously thinking we need to plan something like that Ladies.

This thread has me hot and bothered.  It was originally about bondage/fetishes being a turn on in and of themselves, for example, in a movie. I remembered a couple more from my past:

* Tony Curtis as Houdini.  Again, I saw this on TV still pretty young. There were a few scenes in there, like the straitjacket one, that got me feeling all tingly and intrigued, but I had no idea why...

* Leonardo DiCaprio, again, in The Man in the Iron Mask. This is a must see, because the man knows how to do the 'begging eyes' and there's a great gag scene, too.  It held a strong first place in my "scenes to lust for" flick, until Elijah Wood blew him out of the "begging eyes" and struggling scene in the Lord of the Rings movie with the spider. OH MY!!

Ah we have been reading and smiling, but here is a thought for you. What if the guy wants to lose, because he likes to pamper you all and does not mind being penetrated? Would that spoil your fun, especially as some of us are quite strong and masculine anyway.

I wondered when someone was going to notice the absence of us.  :)  It might be for a simple reason.  Terror.  The post started out great, then snowballed into a lovely frenzy.  I think a nice word such as intimidation would be appropriate for those of us overly burdened by our gender.  It felt like a ladies night out, after the ladies have been stuck in a convent for a month.  Be careful what you wish for gentlemen. :)

I noticed on page 2 that there were far more subbies reading it but none were commenting. I had the visual of the subbies all lined up against the wall waiting to serve while the Ladies had a girls night as well. The terror growing in their little submissive hearts as we discussed our wicked plans. How delightful!

Status: offline 		I know i'm a male sub, but I've always been fascinated by scenes in movies with a D/s dynamic as well. Theres something about it that always does it for me, and in fact, I'de wager to say that some scenes have even motivated me to seek out more.

The biggest dynamic that always seems to come across my mind is the female vampire one. Anybody ever seen the movie "Once Bitten"? It has Jim Carrey in it and sort of has this D/s dynamic with a lady vampire.. It gets me all *fans himself* Well, you get the idea! At the gym this morning.  With a lot of testosterone, weights clanging, grunting and sweating guys all around me,  this thought "somehow" popped into my head. 

All the subs lined up against the wall, the experienced ones hoping against all hope not to be called over.  The evening was just starting to warm up and the energy was changing.

Sub A to Sub B:  "Hey, they're gesturing for us to come over.  They need some more wine.  You go over".
Sub B:   "NO,NO, NO,  yoouuuuu,, go over.  I don't want to think of what will happen if I go over there".
Sub A:   "I know, let's make Mikey go over, this is his first time here.  He thinks he will like it.  He won't have ANY idea of what they can or will do to him.  He thinks that they will be nice and gentle with him."
Sub A looks at Sub B, watching Mikey walk happily but unknowingly to the gallows.

With whom do I speak with, I ask respectfully,  to have these thoughts arrive in my head at a more appropriate time?  If this is subliminal domination, it's not only not fair, it's evil.  It's cruel.  It's wicked.  Thanks, it was a lovely workout. :)

Frankly with collars become fashion rather than symbols I just don't get turned on by them any more unless it is on someone I am training or I own.

Fox likes to say that I have relationship-model fetishes more than traditional fetishes and I think he's correct.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you! Damn Orlando Bloom and Viggo Mortenson monopolizing all the lust. Almost nobody ever says the hobbits were hot. This made my morning :)

To provide a submissive's perspective: I get all wet and squishy watching bondage scenes in movies too. Part of the reason I love the new-fangled ultraviolent horror movies like Saw and Hostel is that on a deep, primal level, seeing a guy tied up and scared gets me hot, that imagery is intrinsically tied into sex and arousal for me. However, it's in a situation that is anything but sexually charged. I made a big long post about this once, but the jist is this: I like those kinda movies because they're even more disturbing and spooky due to the sexual angle. I love mixing the bizarre and even scary in my fantasies.

Oh, and that show The Pretender, anybody remember that? Ms. Parker...*mmrrow* Predatory, powerful women. Yummy.
