It's hot, you don't know know it's coming, it can happen after something soft, warm. I was slapped a bit off-key and it made my ear start ringing. It was a slip up, but it was hot because I had that whoa, my ear is ringing this is fucked up feeling going on.

Yeah, i turned my head once at the wrong moment and got slapped on the ear instead of the cheek. Talk about ringing...oi! I was deaf in that ear for about a week afterwards!

i love the physical sensation of my Master slapping my face but, not if anyone else does it, unless He tells them to. i don't feel any humiliation when my Master slaps my face. i would feel angry if anyone else slapped my face, without my Master's approval. And, yes, when my Master slaps me on my face or anywhere else, it is an instant turn-on.

That has happened to me before, too, except I only had "muffled hearing" for a day or so. Once he misfired and slapped my contact lense into the back of my eye...or something like that. I couldn't find it, he couldn't find it, it wasn't on me or on the floor, and my eyeball hurt like hell. About an hour later it came back around to the front of my eye so I took it out. Whew.

Master never uses face-slapping as a punishment... never. My punishments fit the crime so to speak, and I never talk back... so there goes that theory. I'm not saying that I'm not opinionated, but I do voice them in a respectful manner.

Master and I had been together for over a year, if not a little longer, before He first slapped me. Truthfully He wasn't sure how He would feel about it... not to mention what my reaction would be. My reaction must have been a mixture of shock (totally unexpected) and sheer pleasure. So, a few minutes later He did it again. This time He spoke to me as He slapped the other cheek ( naughty talk). Take heed. " Slippery When Wet!" My orgasm were so powerful.

Master apparently enjoyed it also. I think He loved how I reacted to it, which in turn turned Him on even more. He loved having that kind of power over me, enjoyed making me answer Him, enjoyed the entire experience.

Face slapping is lovely-niceness. (As is not reviving incredibly old threads. Who's going to read from the beginning, really?)

For those of us who have crappy skin that shows when you poke your cheek with an eraser have to be... careful... It sucks, but it can be done!

A lot of good opinions on this one.

I had a slave last year who adored face slapping. Couldn't get enough of it. Much more often than I was comfortable with, actually. After a while, her face became slightly rough, and I toned down both the frequency to maybe once or twice every other day, and the force to something I was certain would not damage her skin. It actually became a treat for good behavior.

However, I'm with Shammon, I got slapped by my own mom--a LOT--and all it inspired in me was rebellion and rage, never repentance, after it had become an extreme habit of hers. I still have a flinching reflex. And so I was very, very leery about face slapping at first, I actually hated the idea for a long time, delivering something that I'd had such a strongly negative reaction to; and considering my experience with that sub last year, even now I am careful that if I do slap, it might make a loud noise but does not even redden the cheek. Of course, I don't tell the sub that, or it might take some of the menace out of it... but Vivacious is right, pick your moment and it can have dramatic results. Or bad ones. Make sure the sub is capable of handling it, but also, don't live in fear that cripples the dynamic; do what you must, when you must. It's a balance.

Oh awesome thread. I got all tingly just seeing the title! For me, it's also a psychological turn on. It's humbling and definitely gets my attention. It's an instant reminder of the dynamics in place. And because it's generally a shock, it sets the world as you know it spinning in a million directions, so all you can really do is trust that the Dom has things under control.

At the same time, depending on the moment, it might raise just a tad of rebellion in me...the briefest swell of passion...that's gone just as quickly as it appeared. This internal struggle serves to strengthen that dynamic and pretty much throws me deeper into subspace.

For me it boils down to control.Being put in my place with a swift,hard slap delivered to the face.I also feel there is a hint of mild humiliation in it that i quite enjoy...Ah yes, the thrill of it all :-)

I don't find the act humiliating. I'm not sure why so many do.
It has enormous appeal to me, like breath play.
And like breath play, it isn't something we're going to do because the risk quotient is so high.

I have implants in both eyes. A wrong hit and I'm blind. We are so not going there except in fantasy.
