ORIGINAL: sappatoti I'd offer to shovel your snow and bring up a chicken soup recipe (sorry, my culinary skills are pushed when it comes to determining whether to use high or med-high power on the microwave), but by the time I arrived I think mud season would be upon you. 'Tis a shame too, for I don't mind shoveling snow. you would mind THIS year *sigh*.....honest to the gods Sappa, i cannot see out my living room windows...the snow is pressed, quite literally, right up to the glass and is blocking the view *pout*...i've never seen so much snow in one season....*sigh* When I was living in upstate NY, I dreamed of seeing that much snow again. We had it when I first moved there in '71... the snow completely drifted in and buried the lower level of our new house, making it appear to be a ranch style. In reality, it was a split level and the door to get into the house was behind that ten feet of snow. That was my first experience with making snow tunnels, snow caves, etc. I've been hooked ever since. Please don't ask why I moved away; it's a move I've mostly regretted since. ;-)
