Ah...yes...youth and snow kind of go together...i remember the blizzard of '78...two weeks off of school, digging tunnels out of the front door....there was nowhere to put the snow when you first started shoveling the tunnel so we had to fill trash barrels full of snow and empty them out the 2nd floor windows just so we could dig the tunnels lol...

it was fun and exciting then..NOW, however, due to a dead snowblower, it's sucking mightily lol. or maybe its just because i'm "old" now

honey.. i'm sorry...

it is just because you are old now....

dont let it happen!!

actually Phil and I have been playing kickball with the neighborhood kids (and our own of course) lately..  It has been so much fun!  I didn't want to admit to him yesterday that my legs were hurting me but when I did, he laughed and told me his legs were hurting him too!!  LOL

Force yourself to do all that shit.. Once you are in the middle of it, you will remember why you used to do it all the time!!

Between you and I, you're not old. If you were, then I'd have to find me a usable scooter or power chair. ;-)

I have had better februaries that's for sure.  first I was sick and in hospital and now my 4 year old diabetic girl is sick  uggggg

Why were you in the hospital?  How is your daughter doing??

b-  sorry you are under the weather beautiful!  Want some chicken noodle soup?

I just learned the coolest thing this guy embedded a slide show in an cm mail to me:

oh i just put the pics on photobucket.com then a made a slide show and got the html code from it and pasted it into the email that i sent You Goddess

hey BSB - after a nine day migraine (you all remember that wacky weather three weeks ago - there you got it!) I finally went to emerg.  Their new protocol is not narcotics (DAMN lol) but a lot of other things including acetaminiphin, toradol (a non-narcotic pain reliever, maxeran (anti puke drugs) benedryl (antihistamine) and good old solu-medrol ( a steriod ---------------- and no not the performance enhancing kind)  The headache frinally went away so we left.

5:00 pm that night BAMN the pain was bearable but I was puking every hour or so so hub dragged me in the next day.  Happy Valentines Day.  No flower, No candy, just needle and drugs.  They finally had to resort to Fentanyl (narcotic usualy used in the OR or for chronic pain.

Came home feeling fine then started coughing. got to the point where I couldn't lay down because I couldn't breathe.  Got on the antibiotics fast enough but my little girl was already sick.  She will be 5 in April and has been diabetic for about 18 months.  It makes it hard when all she wants to do is sleep.  I have to keep waking her up to check her blood and give ner juice/insulin as needed

I truly believe that God does not give us more than we can handle - but could he give the next thing to someone else, please? I'm tired.

Oh!  Those Migraines!!  They wouldnt give me good drugs last time either!!  Who do they think they are, God?  Here we are in pain, there they sit with the cure...bright lights behind them...and all they have to say is, sorry, try this bullcrap instead?  Dear Lord, someone take their God complex and shove it up their....

Sorry to hear about your migraines....totally understand and feel for you!  9 days is a good one huh...I'd like to give them 9 days of sheer hell and see if they still think they are God, hell no, they'd break into the drug cabinent and inject themself with TWICE the dose.

hi Minx - I've suffered with them since I as 12 - a very long time ago (31 years to save you the trouble of perving my profile)  I can usually handle them, but I am very weather pressure sensitive so that massive storm just rocked my world in a really really bad way

Def. my drink of choice.  Too bad Ive been too broke to go to the bar.  Decided to be responsible and pay down the credit cards.  Damn it.  At 7 bux a pop I think Ill just grab a bottle.  Gatoraid can work in place of redbull when ur real broke....learned that a loooong time ago.  You know, when I was living off Jager, (gatorade) and for food,  Ramen!  Ahhh those were the days.  I think.  I dont really remember them, but Im sure I'll never forget them!

Hey Nursey....Hope you are feelin better....

Minxy, Cherry Vodka and Red Bull is good too.....I have also heard from a gorgeous woman that Vanilla Stoli and Ginger Ale is pretty good too.

And you always have to get a little nostalgic when you have the Ramen noodles.

Yes, I just suffered thru a mere 3 day one.  When the wind picks up and kicks the dust in the air my sinuses go mad. The red wine the night before didnt help. (usually ok, but with the wind it just rocked me) Then its ice packs and pain pills trying to fight it off.  Eventually its submitting to the pain and finding the darkest room in the house, more ice and praying it doesnt last more than a few days.
What a horrible existance when we pray our pain only lasts "a few days!"
