yes. ..
there's 'the one' i met from the virgin islands that was the best and all-around fun sadist.

then there's 'the one', i met from houston that melted me into a lake of cum with his weekend long fuck-fests.

and let's not forget about 'the one' that looks and acts like mr. tough-guy, biker dude, that is the sweetest man i've ever met.

soooooo, i've met 'the one' a few times on this site,

Yes but I lost him again.
I really needs to start leaving sticky notes to myself as to where I put things

Seriously tho. I met the most perfectly matched person( so far )on here. Due to complications the relationship ended but finding someone fantastic on here is definately possible.

I don't really believe in the supposed " One" or "Soulmate" or "my other half" First off I feel like a whole person all on my own. and Secondly I believe there are many people in the world that would be very good matches for us.

People change and evolve constantly and I believe that sometimes the same person is not the "One" for our entire lives. You might be lucky enough to meet someone that changes in the same ways and directions that you change and is able to continue to be the person you need in your life in that life phase. But as for the "Perfect Match" it's BS because people are not perfect and expecting perfection from anyone person or expecting one person to be able to fulfill all the needs you have in your life for social interaction is alot to put on one person.

I just love when I see profiles that say " Looking for the perfect slave" or "Want to serve the perfect Master"  There is no such thing, and those people will always be disappointed and always looking for someone better and therefore will most likely end up alone or always unhappy.

yeah, i know what you meant; thus the reason for the smiling guy behind the statement; it's called humor!

Greetings

i thought i had a couple of times. The first turned out to be nothing but a player. The second threw me away for the more convenient choice who was already in his own country and didn't have any UMs he'd have to raise. This after 8 months of telling me how proud he'd be to raise them as his own, adopting them so they would legally be his own.

But, i have now found my One. He is a Man who was there for me during the last two months of my last situation. He provided me support, an ear, and a shoulder, and when the last situation ended, He gave me many things: a new name; a place of safety; love, care, and support; and in the end, His Ownership of me, and an entire Family.

Today, i have sisters who i adore and who adore me, and our Master is wonderful. He is gentle and kind yet stern and firm at the same time. He doesn't put any of us before the others. The love He has for each of us is not the same in each case and some are not treated exactly the same as others, but how each of us are treated fits in each instance. None of us girls are equal and equality is not necessarily needed, but that doesn't mean any of us is loved any less than another. We all love, care for, and support all the others. i love my Master very much and i know He loves me too.

PS...forgot to mention, yes, i found Him here on CM.

Isn't one of the requirements of humor that it be funny?

And to answer the question, no. But I've found a few wrong ones that were still a lot of fun. Which makes them alright in my book.

Booo. Hiss.

I like crazy, and I like you... so what gives you the right to screen?

I met my Master here closing in on a year ago and moved to be with him two months ago. We are well past the infatuation stage and this relationship feels the best I have ever felt in one and not just by my heart pounding but my brain thinking and my mouth always smiling.

Found the one though? Hopefully, but that question can only be answered over the real long term. Most of us here and all other human beings have thought we have found the one several times in our lives but life is so tricky.

I only know this to find the one you have to have your heart and brain open to finding the one or it will never be possible and my expereince is that the balance of blind faith and total cynicism has to be managed and not left up to fate.

Nope. I must admit, I found my houseboy on OkCupid, and we'll be married on September 16. I don't remember how my slave found me, but it wasn't here, and he will be moving in with us when he retires in a year.

Still, I believe your question is 'can it be done?' And the answer is 'yes!' On here as much as somewhere else. Let's not forget all the great friends we make on here too.

yes, and to me, it's about as funny as calling someone "the one" in my book!

yes.

and i also believe that i was whole and complete as a single woman by myself.. and that there isn't 'the one', but there are many possible relationships that we will come across in our lives.  Z and i talked online and met, then did many things together in various circumstances to find out about each other and our ideas (i.e. like vanilla dating!)  besides liking each other as human beings, being attracted to each other on many levels, we also felt compatible with the Master and slave elements and desires of each others personalities.  thankfully we lived only about 90 miles apart (where i also had family), and got to really spend quality time together before making any radical changes (like so many unfortunately do).  but we have happily moved in together, made the collar/ ring/ paper commitment for life..  i am His.

but, i've been on the site (my original single profile retired a few months back..) for maybe 5 or 6 years, and i've met and served and played with a number of quality Doms here.  they just weren't the right fit for the long-term for me..

I lived with someone for a year I met here.  He wasn't 'the one,' but he was very important to me to learn many things, including how to actually get in touch with who I really am, so he helped me learn to find "the one" in the mirror that I'd been ignoring for a long time.

Yeah, I'm the submissive male of a D/s married couple who found each other on this site. It works. Hurrah.
It isn't that the site works so much as it doesn't sabotage.

A couple pictures, a couple paragraphs, and a list of interests is hardly cupid.

I'd like to think me and my Madame would have worked if we met anywhere. Probaly would have. Though living 400 miles away from each other and me being too cheap and jaded for paysites, I'm just glad for this site.
