Hello Lookin,

Have you solved your rash issue?  I have had similar 'problems' in the past and have found a wonderful little brush that cures the ingrowns before they happen but you must be dilligent and you must be gentle!!
The Brushes look like little minature toilet brushes...made of loofa and you brush down there every day before and after shaving....and believe me it sure helps with the bumps!! all those ingrowns just go bye bye!! lol
Anyway you can get these brushes for around 15 to 16 bucks Canadian at most Spa's
There are big ones for the body but make sure you get the small one for the cookie! lol that what I call the "lady garden" as you called it....
Take Care...
Anna

monistat chafing gel. It's also great as a makeup base.

pure aloe gel, immediately after shaving, and regularly (1-2 times a day) thereafter

Tea tree oil is pretty good for it's soothing properties.  I did just find the most amazing shave cream the other day - it's called Shave the Day from Bath and Body Works.  Never have I been able to shave so well and smooth with my sensitive skin.  I still put a lotion on after, but if you aren't as sensitive as I am, you might not even need it.  It has shea butter in it, so I'm guessing that makes it so soft and smooth.  My legs look even better now!!

Betadine scrub (like surgeons use before surgery) used with an exfoliant glove/mitten/pad.

The exfoliant glove helps keep free the cut hairs from the pores, and the antibacterial scrub/soap disinfects the area, taking care of the bacteria that inflame the pores. I get virtually instant improvement when I use this, and the entire problem usually goes away within a day or two, If I remember to continue exfoliating and using the antibacterial scrub occasionally, I stay generally trouble-free.

I think I'm going to try the tea-trea oil idea, also.

I find a VERY sharp VERY fresh razor works really well, I use the 5 blade Fusion razor made for guys because it seems like razors made for your face work better than those made for your legs.  I also use tons of shaving cream and then rub down with aloe afterwards to keep everything hydrated and smooth.

i prefer the intuition razor, and the jergins lotion made for after shave care
