Can I put that on my profile journal? I will of course give credit to who said it.

Did I miss another "THE ONE TWUE WAY" installment?

You way doesnt work for me.
Your definitions dont work for me.
I will continue to do it my way, and if you dont like it... my suggestion is dont do it my way.
I dont plan on doing it your way, so it should work out well for everyone involved.

Im in a mood today, obviously. And more "this is how it must be done and if you dont do it this way you are fake" trash isnt helping.

I must be a twue submissive; I would nevah evah allow HoneyMaster to have anal sex with me or let him do other kinky sex things with me. That's just gross!
That *is* what the op meant right?
Right?

*giggles*

Ok, finding a guy, and doing the kind of sex HE likes doing so long as your in the mood, doesn't make you a submissive or even kinky. It makes you an old fashioned wife/breeding cow like you your boring grandma

In my version of D/s, traditional roles fit just fine with submission and kink.  It's about the individual.  Unless you have some inside info...BDSM rules etched in stone tablets handed to you upon a mountain or something?  In that case...i will follow you into the kinky promised land...

Is the resurrection at hand, or is it just this thread that started back in October of last year?

Even as one so new to this lifestyle, his profile screams married man. Glad he is nowhere near me.

I don't think you have to automatically submit. There can and sometimes is a power struggle. The loser of this struggle usually submits.

OK, I can't hardly resist this... I got lost at this line here.. As soon as I understood OP saw this as a contest between himself and his "sub", it was obvious we are talking abuse here, not BDSM.  God, I dearly hope that I never, EVER "win" over my wife.  If I ever accidently do, I pray to god I catch it and am able to offer up appropriate apologies.  Yup, I'm a disney-dom, can't help myself.  Thank god my wfie actually enjoys being my slave so I don't have to "win" over her to get her to submit *laughs*

There is no way to tell an individual or couple how to be dominate or submissive. Whatever it is you do,  it may vary depending on the partner you have anyway. I definitely don't fit the profile of perfect Domme, but whatever I am ,, it works for me and my sub.

Wow, first time I saw a very very dead, beaten to a pulp topic resurrected after 2 mo.

Do you read the date at the top before you respond? (just curious)

I agree with Cali a few posts later.

Dead is dead, and this one is beyaond rotting. Oops, I think I ust fed it, my bad, heh.

So, now does this mean that my subs wish to serve me by taking care of the house work and rubbing my feet, getting me more sweet tea and thanking me for every day building her up and 'making' her see herself as a beautiful and strong woman, asking me to tie her up and cause her little amounts of pain, asking my permission for everything, this means that we aren't serious or interested in BDSM or that I should stop doing research on shabari and flogging, the fact that we have limits and fetishes that we aren't into, these things make us not real?

I believe the OP has some need for research himself, perhaps about himself as opposed to the lifestyle. No hard rules dictate a D/s relationship, in my mind, other then the fact that one person prefers to be in control and the other prefers someone to be in control other then themselves.

Perhaps I am wrong, however, everyone I've talked to, both online and irl, has validated everything I believe a M/s, D/s dynamic to be. My 'slave', as I so affectionatly call her, is my most prized and cherished possesion, and I do everything in my 'power' to make her realize that without her, I would just be another lonely pervert. >_< Her submission is her way of showing how much she cares about me, not out of some need for helplessness or lack of control. Because it is when she isn't in control that she is the most free, when she is doing the dishes or mopping the floor and I whisk her away for some playtime and while she naps I finish her work for her that she feels the most appreciated. Now I know plenty of doms that prefer to wait until the duties are done before playtime or would vehemently refuse to lower themselves to drying and putting away some dishes, even call me unDOMly or tell me I have no balls for doing the things I do for my slave, I say 'alright, thats your opinion, you are entitled to it, just as I am entitled to ignore it'
I think it is childish to have to put a hard label on everything so that you understand it and it doesnt frighten you anymore, childish and narrow-minded. No personal attack, I just encourage finding a bit more personal insight into what you're talking about and yourself before you make sweeping judgements and assume to tell 'new' users what they should think.

I'm only 23, so forgive me if I make some of the mistakes I ask others not to, I know I have a lot to learn, I just wish everyone would realize that there is no way to know every given thing about any given thing.

-Spider

BTW, yes I read the date before I responded, I just saw this as a possible real post that people need to read, not because of the OP's poor opinions, but because of the other users who have proven him wrong time and time again. Reading this whole thing doesnt make you a loser, however if you learned anything from the replys posted here, perhaps you needed toread it. I sure feel I learned something. I am planning on instructing my slave to read this and give me her feedback about the orginial post and all the responces. It is unhealthy to become stagnant or adopt the idea that you have learned all you need to. Growth is important for human beings.

And I wasnt responding to celticlord as the post says... Quite misleading at times...

*stands at the podium, on the soap box...

Hello my darling friends, yes you... I am speaking to you.  What is this I see before me?  Is this the litany of responses that we can be proud of?  *shakes my head sadly*  I say to you, *looks right at you*, I am disappointed.  Sorely disappointed.  How can this be, I ask myself?  Are these my same people, the ones I"ve known lo these many months?  Where did the backbone of the message board go?  Have we developed some crippling disease?  some alzheimer's of the fingers?  Have we forgotten WHO WE ARE?

NO WE HAVE NOT...
WE WILL NOT FORGET WHO WE ARE...

Is this the best that we can do?  Is this what  the wonderful bright minds we have here can come up with when handed a golden opportunity, a veritable smorgasbord of self-importance that is ready to be ripped apart, gnashed away?

Here in how many pages of responses, there are but small embers of response, no flames, nothing to warm the very eyes that burn into this message board.  Shame, I say.  Shame on you.  Have we all become so bored with arrogance, so unimpressed with pomposity, so listless in the face of hubris that we should discuss what?  POPCORN and popcorn with beer?

Friends, friends, we must find the cynicism, our insolence, our personal pique!  What has become of this community of non-conformists who are miffed, nay, TRANSGRESSED by rants of nonsense?

Soon, one day soon, the heated beast of anger will warm your bosom, and on that day, yes on THAT day my good friends, you will see the volcano that is the intelligencia of Collar me will rise up and spew venom that has yet to be only imagined..... and on that day, we will not have merely popcorn.  OH NO!  my fellows, we will have a god damn weenie roast!

have a nice day.

*Steps off the soap box
