i have to echo others here.  The idea of wearing a gps as a piece of jewelry is hot, hot HOT.  i would not, however, want one implanted....i am not into body modification.  But geezus make it a part of my collar.... wow!

Damn, now i wish i wouldn't have let my tongue piercing close up on me..what a perfect place for a chip. i had one that blinked once (on my tongure thing)...it was a tiny little chip thing that blinked for hours...so one could conceivably be inserted into one of those.

Do them as clit piercings.
My oh my
A dual purpose device, by day you can track her
By night you can lead her by attaching a leash to it.
This just gets better and better.
And it still stays with the smart box concept, it even enhances it

I hate to be Mr Boring here but GPS needs line-of-sight contact with the satellites.  Unless you were walking around with your tongue stuck out or indecently exposing yourself to the sky, a GPS tongue or clit piercing just wouldn't actually do anything.   But, hey, who said that fantasies have to be constrained by boring old reality.

Implanted GPS...
Quite an interesting idea!! i like it :-)  i think it is hot, particularly when i think that i would never be "totally" off the grid even when i am backcountry hiking ~

Kinda like a reverse "Where in the world is Carmin Sandiago!"

Thinking of the "unexpected scenes" that could occur is very hot...i love surprises!

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! That is good!
i suppose one could be implanted under the scalp, at the crown of the head~
Perhaps i could even pick up satellite radio and tune into my own personal soundtrack!
i am really loving this now!

It's an intriguing and hot idea.  Not sure if he'd do it, though, but maybe.  He already knows where I am at all times and who I am with.  And I have cams set up in my home so he can see me any time he wants when I am home, all he has to do is tap in.  I would certainly have no objection if he wanted to chip me.  It's his body to do what he wants with, after all.

I would say any trusted slave is the exact right size to be the universal remote.

LOL well it was very awkward at first but then it became really comforting.  It wasn't done to "check up on me," rather we do not live together and he enjoys the pleasure of seeing his girl whenever he wants to, night or day.  There have been times he has just quietly watched me cook dinner.  We've watched TV together.  He has watched me sleep. Sometimes he will order me to sleep in certain positions and/or with certain objects inserted and he will check on that.  It was embarrassing though, when he woke me to comment on my snoring!  I tried to tell him, "I don't snore, Dear Master, I coo like a dove" but he didn't buy it....

I'd probably beg to have it upgraded to a full navigation system in my car because I suck at geography and directions.  Having a gps chip as a collartag is a very cute and hot idea for me.

And yes, it would depend on the WHY he was doing it- as a symbol of ownership and fun, then I'm all for it.  As a symbol of protection or insecurity, that would squick me.

LOL That would have totally helped when I was so totally lost in Virginia.  "Hey can someone tap into my slave chip and tell me where the hell I am, please?!?!"

The Dr told us that our first born is going to be a girl.
You tell me what any loving, careing, and protective father would do with a GPS chip?

Don't know...maybe blow-dart it into the ass of every guy that his daughter goes out with?

Okay - first chat and bring up the GPS, maybe a wee bit of getting ahead of himself. But then again, you have to appreciate the honesty. How many people (BDSM and vanilla) complain about their partner suddenly letting the cat out of the months or years after being together? At least this feller was straight-up-front with you.

What do I think about it? I think it is pretty cool - not because it is a device that communicates lack of trust. But think about the psychological effect of a sub/slave that desires to be "totally owned"! In this case, she would feel at all times that he knows where she is at and what she is doing. George Orwell - Big Brother (or Daddy/Dom/Master) watching you. Wouldn't this send rivulets of shivers up and down every single body part of the girl that wants to feel totally under control and surveillance?

He could just install one in the car, then I wouldn't get lost and he'd know where I was. At the mall, at basketball practice, at the paintball field etc. In the car would tell him what he needed to know and make life easier for me.

But he generally knows my schedule and if he's forgotten, that's what the cell phone is for.

I am such a sci-fi geek. I love the idea! Chip me in, put Borg implants in me, outfit me with an implanted zapper, whatever ... I'd love it! ::laughs::

i was chatting with a guy - first chat - He told me that if i was His sub/slave, He would want to put a GPS chip in my body or at least in a necklace for me to wear.

i said no that this smacks of lack of trust to me.  and then i wished Him good luck on His search, and i was glad that we found out early that we wouldnt be compatible... Frankly, the question made me wonder about His ability to be a Dom...and then i wondered if it wouldnt just be another way to humiliate or control me.... and then, my head started spinning.

Anyway, what is Your opinion about GPS chips... would You use them?  if so, why? when

A GPS chip?  Might make for some funky geeky body piercing jewelry but I have a feeling you are talking about an RFID chip and not a GPS chip.

GPS chips are the decoder devices used to sense satellite signals in GPS receivers.
RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification Device... you find those as Lojack chips in a car and other items.  When they come close enough to a reader to supply power by induced voltage they respond by transmitting a serial number.
Subcutaneous RFID has been around for a while.  But a chip small enough to implant can only be sensed at a distance of inches.  I think I remember 18 inches as a max distance.  Good way to issue a high security access that can't be lost. <grin>
California has made it unlawful for an employer to require rfid implants.

Hmm, thinking back... maybe he did mean to lojack you.  Might be a bit painful to have an inch and a half pencil diameter rfid like a lojack installed in a person.  Those can be read at a good bit more distance as they work on cell tower frequencies.

Tell him where to put his GPS chip and just put a locator beacon in a welded on collar.  I'm thinking like the ankle bracelets they use on home incarceration prisoners.  The base unit makes a call whenever the worn transmitter gets too far away.

Just thinking too much,
Stefan
