Before anyone yells at me, as I already have had a few yell at me, when I ask around, I do not plan removal of the clitoris Glans, the Labia, or to sew up the vagina in any way.

This thread is purely about the sole removal of the Clitoral Hood, in order to make the Clitoris Glans exposed permanently.

My question is, has anyone here ever attempted a Do-it-yourself Hoodectomy, and if so, do you have any helpful information about places to research about it, how it worked out, and if it was something fun later on?

I want to learn as much as I can about it before trying to perform it, if one can perform it on someone in a DIY situation.

I would find a plastic surgeon wiling to perform the operation...and I'm sure they're out there. There is no way I would DIY because there are just way too many things that can go wrong.

no way in hell I would do this myself. Research the surgery and find a plastic surgen to do it for you.

Once again I am left wondering why the hell some people are so incredibly cheap. But then I saw the profile and the boychick is 18. I wonder kid if as an "adult" you would enjoy being circumsized by an amateur who had to check out a reference in the middle of cutting your tender bits?

This was only a question people, for serious and mature conversation. I understand it's not wise to do it yourself, I was only curious if other people have had experience with it, in a DIY environment. And yes, Misso, thank you for pointing out that I am new to the BDSM community, and trying to learn my way through things. Very mature of you. Now, if anyone actually has some valid information, please, bring it to the thread, and let me know your experiences with Hoodectomies, regardless of DIY or not.

WTF??? You're going to "try" to perform an operation on someone? You think you can "DIY" surgery? This isn't making a set of bookcases or a nice occasional table for that bare spot in the lounge room.

Oh by all means, let's all ditch all the doctors and just have unqualified 18 year old bozo's operating in the kitchen.

The section of the OP that's bolded says volumes to me...you "understand" that it's not WISE to do it, but you're gonna learn how to do it anyway... I guess that makes you stupid...
As for mature folks here, we probably wouldn't let anyone do something like that to our pink bits.

Save up your money and find a nice friendly plastic surgeon.

ive seen alot of DIY surgical procedures, including castrations and even removal of the penis. not to mention amputatons and other radical (not in the sens that its like, Oh RAD! but in the sense that they are more extream) piercings are done often DIY as well. i realize that it is a very serious thing to consider but it was just a question. he was just courious is anyone had done it. he didnt say he was going to, just that he was courious if anyone had.

Here's some "valid information". Anaesthesia, nerve damage, haemorrhage, infection, physical, mental and emotional pre/post operative trauma, regret at having a part of your body removed when you were too young to understand the life long repercussions of such surgery, scepticemia, etc etc.

Thank you Abby. This post was only to see if this was something that was actually able to be done, safely, resposibly, and cleanly, in a DIY situation.

As Abby has said, many modifications are even done in a DIY situation, including under-flesh metal mods for penises, penis splitting, and as Abby has said, castration.

If you're going to get on me about my age, or calling me stupid, which I assure you is no case to claim about anyone you do not know, then stay out of my threads. This is a place to ask questions about health and safety, not to attack people about their interests and idea's.

If that's what the public BDSM community has become, a place to judge and make biased opinions because of age, looks, idea's, or desires, then it's become a sad thing indeed.

Again, I say. If anyone has actual valid information, then thank you.

And yes, those are valid points Magnolia, on things that could happen if it was done wrong. As is anything in the BDSM community that involves less vanilla activities than collars and paddles.

To the OP...

If you're trying to save money, you're not going to get satisfactory results from advice taken off a forum on the Internet. By all means go for it if you want, but make sure she understands that you don't really know what you're doing, and that it will most likely accomplish little more than mangling her clit for life, and probably a trip to the ER. There are people who do all sorts of mods in this area, but the legality of surgical alteration of the clit is questionable at best. Hence, this better be something you're willing to bet your ass she will like (even when it goes wrong), as that's exactly the part of you that will be at risk if she files a police report (consent does not cover this sort of activity, it seems, at least not legally speaking).

Should you decide to pull this stunt anyway, subscribe to some BME magazines, get to know some people in that scene, and brush up on how to handle life-threatening blood loss (a cut in the wrong place can cause a lot more bleeding than you would guess). I've no good advice to offer as to the procedure itself, except for the regular bits like hygiene, wound care and keeping a phone handy for calling 911 when it goes to hell; unless, of course, you count "don't fucking do it!" as good advice, of course.

while i agree that i wouldnt want it done, and that i think its bad to do for yourself, people will do what they do wether we condone or agree or not. im sure most men here wouldnt want their penis removed , and think that doing it yourself is a bad idea, yet people do it all the time.

Here's another reality to consider.....the strong possibility that the person would be rendered so sensitive as to never again be able abide even the slightest touch of clothing or partner without agony. Not pain, not discomfort, but agony.

Just out of curiosity, what the heck is your motivation?

ooof...I dont really like posting on the forums, much as I enjoy reading them but ummmm...DIY surgery? In an area that quite frankly can develop problems all on its own without any interference whatsoever? I appreciate the whole spirit of adventure and seeking advice and all that but ARE YOU NUTS?

Leave surgery to those people with well earned degrees in surgery....theres a reason you need to study hard afore your allowed to cut people up like that. Im sure you could find someone with a nice recipe for human brain goulash, doesent mean its a good idea so Id leave it to proffessionals...

Sheesh, I feel like I need a drink now, this one was nearly as bad as the guy who electrocuted his wife with live nipple clamps :(

also wanted to add, yes, BME and reaserch is a must, wikipedia, google, and other places will probobly give you better results. i would look around for personal experiances DIY or not concerning this.

Oh excuse me. You're 18 and asking for advice on doing a DIY op on someone in a BDSM forum. I've only worked in an ER and in a womens hospital. What would I know?
