No more so than most women really want to understand men. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately for some, we do.

Actually lusiouslips, I think it goes to further the Opposite point that as much as Men do not understand women, women do not understand men anymore.

I suggest we all read Men are from Mars Women are from Venus and then try this thread again.

As Always

Steel

Terrible, terrible book.  If people take their understandng from this classic - no wonder the world is as it is.

the.dark.

I have never read that book. I have read and taught Asian Theory. So we have yin and yang which are interdependent and everything has varying degrees of both. We also have the Shen and the Ko cycles. Shen being the creation cycle and Ko being the controlling cycle.Shen is yin and Ko is yang. So for example , There are also 5 elements. Water being the most yin and fire being the most yang. The rest are metal, earth and wood. So an example of the Shen and Ko cycle is. That Fire gone unchecked would be unbalanced. So if you took water to douse it balance occurs.Or fire that burns becomes ash which is turned back into the earth.

I like the idea that this relationship of interdependence of the earthly and the exalted. The calm being ignited by the energetic working together to create harmony and balance.

As far as pop psychology, who knows.

Yes. we could just stop trying to understand men and just get together. All us gals. Naked. With a chocolate fountain and some paint brushes.

My response was said with tongue firmly in cheek.  However when a few men posted, that they don't understand their motives you do??? <unless of course you were teasing like I was>  You are either a seer or have some great mojo working.  Matter of fact you read about it all the time in the newpaper.  Some guy does something really off the wall. When they interview the friends and family there like " I dont understand why he did it"...  But it sounds to me like you do know why hmmm.

Or were you teasing.  On second thought you may have been refering to one man.  Not men in general if thats the case I may agree with you.

Mostly firmly in cheek. Although, having spent a great deal of time around men, having them come to me with woman problems, etc...I actually do think I have a fair understanding of men in general. Obviously, there are variations I don't get at all. Also, in many ways I am more like a man than a woman. I won't boor anyone with the details but sometimes, "I get" the male perspective much easier than the female.

Well omfg that is the basis of the inquisition now isn't it.  I have the absolute details of how to completly answer this question to the fucking Yching of precision.

Men understand women within the following scientific perameters:  When the planets line up, when Haleys is visible to the naked eye, when there are 20 women in the room and only 1 is menstrating(sorry bout that one), in moments of lucidity, when there are no children within 50 miles of you, when there is both a solar and lunar eclipse in the same day, when they have enough shoes in their closet, money in their wallet, ice on their fingers, and cock in their mouths..... that is when women are understandable.

Ooooohhhhhhaaaaahhhhhhhhlllll other times they are a complete cluster fuck of nuttieness.  And that is precisely why they need to either serve completely  or just bring it with all the bitch attitude and fucking rule their subbie into the dirt.

that's my rubles worth
