Status: offline 		It is interesting that the "Old Guard" has had a great deal of influence on much of the pan sexual BDSM community. If not the specifics, but certainly some of the concepts, like protocols and rituals, and certain types of behaviour, probably found their genisis within that group or at the very least a crystalization of these ideas.

I too had some training, directly or through observation in the heterosexual communities derivation of these ideas and some exposure to leatherman circles. Even today, protocols and rituals resonate positively with me.

It's always good to recognize some of your roots, however murky that vision might be.

If you meet anyone who claims to be a real Old Guard person, he better be gay and in his 80's.
