I went to see Dr Doom yesterday (orthopod with a nice ass). My arm was not getting any better, and the swelling was going no where.

What the trauma center said was "a clean fracture of the clavicle that required no treatment" turned out to be shattered into 5 pieces and requires a metal plate and 6-8 screws to fix. There is also a break in the upper arm that was missed by the "leading Trauma Unit in the country". Annnd he thinks there is a tear in the rotator cuff, but will not know until he gets in there and snoops around.

I am scheduled for surgery next week, and he thinks it will take 4-6 hours to fix everything. Plus, there will be a few nights in the hospital.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
