{sigh}.....I'm bummed.....when will I learn that cooking and napping don't mix?  I was all het up for some homemade chicken and rice soup, and sorta dozed off after I put the rice in.....and it was only half-cooked....and what I ended up with was a pot of chicken and rice mush soup....yeah, it was some nap!  But it's still good......even for breakfast!

i've learned to turn the timer on, even if i think i'll stay awake. cause sure enuff, i'll get lost in cyberspace and it'll burn dry.

Soul, I did that to pork chops and rice...served it anyway by saying that it was Chinese.

Now, I want to buy a rice coker and serve sticky rice...LOL!

i'm here.  
 
i ran out of my anxiety pill last night, so i took my acute anxiety pill instead.  i slept 5 hours straight instead of waking up every 2 hours. Hmmmmm.

So...i was sitting here at my desk when the LoudOne came up to me and veeeery gently placed his little hand on my arm. He looked at me and said "I love you, Mommy."

My first thought was "Awwwww!!!" and i returned the sentiment with a hug using the arm i haven't screwed up yet. Then reality set in and i asked him "Ok..what did you do?" The look of righteous indignation on his little face sent me into a case of the MommyGuilts. I felt terrible, instantly apologized and was rewarded with one of his angelic smiles.

But...as he walked away i heard a soft little whisper..."The kitty cat stuck PlayDough in her ear."

And i am doing well, thanks. I have nothing to complain about compared to what  you are going through. You have set an awesome example for me on how to have courage through adversity.

Holly, i'm still fussing with the seal on the barrier.  i guess i wake up a lot to check it.  So far the only breach has been during the day and that was only once in 3 weeks.
 
i found a good looking support group on-line and my Home Health nurse comes again soon.
 
Oh, to be independent again!
