Ferrets are furry cute critters, not spiders. In fact, there has been a big, huge garden spider hanging around the deck porch. I refused to go out that door to get the groceries until Mom took the bug spray and nuked him/her/it.

I don't know what's worse, the whole spider, or finding half of one.....cuz if'n your cats are like my cats, they tend to hide things in shoes, the sheets, the bathtub....... If the bugs make it in the house, they are either a grease spot or an appetizer.......it just depends on who finds them first...me or the kittehs.

There was an orbweaver living between my screen and my window all summer. OUTSIDE. Inside, she would have been smashed flat!

Most of the time they eat the whole spider but sometimes they take a few chews until it is digested....once in a while a leg is left over but I just manage to sort out that one. And ys, outside they don't bother me, but if they come in my place then they better come with weapons as otherwise they won't survive for long.

Oh yes, and for those Arachnophobes in the bunch, I stayed up aaaalllll night cleaning the goo outta one of Thorny's molestication grenades and replaced it with Raid goo....... cocks the shotgun, racks the grenade...............and KA-POWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! That oughta take care of the little 8 legged bastards........[:)] And just for the record....I have one modified one left for the next person who lets loose a spider here on the boards! You know who you are!

I have a orb spider in the driverside mirror. Every morning there is a perfect web on my mirror. I feel sorry for it that winter is comming.
