Hi,

I am potentially considering Kaylana for my slave.  I would like to give her an OL collar first.  Is there any advise anyone can give me on how to do this.  I will be seeing her in 2 weeks in person.  But I would still would like to pursue an OL collar for her.

I am open to any advice,

Most of us dont put any stock in online collars. If it makes you happy, then do it. It only cosists of telling her "Ok, your collared, say so in your profile".  There is no online collaring rituals, and no real significance to it other than what it means to you. Most of us view it as a velcro collar which can be given and taken away very easily.

It's fake not real and means nothing IMHO.  Until you have meet the person in real life and spent some time with them, a collar of any type is out of the question.

Why?

What does a collar mean to you?

Would you marry someone you had not spent a great deal of time with?

Personally, I take both very seriously. I am never going to get married again and I have no idea if any woman will ever be able to stick it out long enough to earn a collar.

It seems to Me "on-line collar" is an oxymoron.

Besides, if she really IS Owned already, then:
1) she already wears her Master's collar, and
2) her Master would not want someone else's collar on His slave!

So, My advice has to be: Get the slave, THEN get the collar. [Kind of obvious, but...]

The weirdness here is reaching political proportions.

A Dominant is a Dominant, regardless of gender. What you are looking for is someone to validate your online collaring. Many here do not do online collarings and have personal preferences for real time collars only. People I have known online that have done online collarings have done it anywhere from "here, bitch, your collar" in a text message to elaborate, flowery online ceremonies in chat rooms. Reality? There was no real collar unless the girl went out and bought herself one or the dom sent her one (very rare - I've never seen that actually happen...)

So, since you have asked for specifically MALE dominants in an online situation, have you thought about perhaps asking in the Gor forums? In all sarcasm, I'm a lowly female submissive who used to be a Domme..... [8|]  What would I know since I don't have dangly bits?

Online collars dont work....................... i met a dom once from New Zealand once. i live in Ireland... we talked twice a day on the phone ( Big big phone bills) Said He loved me ( yea yea) He did send me a gold chain as a promise and He flew all the way over here to Ireland.... Only to meet in person and say " oops no chemistry"

Two questions you should always ask prior to even considering giving a collar. Are you "the slave" owned in any way, shape, or form "given that some pagans consider a hand-over a type of marriage" by or to anyone? Second question. Are you "the slave' completely free from consideration or obligation to any other in any way, shape, or form. If you get any answer other than "no", BIG RED FLAG. The first question secures that they are not owned. The second question secures that they are not looking into being collared by anyone else. But then again, if you had invested the time most would into getting to know a sub/slave up to that point, you would know the answers to these question. And just because a sub isnt wearing a collar, or trying to shed the one they have right now, doesnt mean yours will stay on any longer than the last one.

sorry the pagan in me has to respond, sorry for the 'jack: it's a hand-fasting, not a hand-over. and i'm not sure i see the connection between the two. you can be collared to one person and married to another.

He already knows she is owned and collared by someone else though. This whole thing is some wierd construct youd need to read a bunch of backstory for. She is someone elses slave he is collaring, and he want st do it online. And he isnt sure why we arent tossing tons of positive advice at him for it, it seems.

Yes please read the whole story before answering this.  There are some on here that are reading nd responding but haven't read a response I had posted about that slave/sub.  I am sure it will become clearer to them not to spek without knowing the whole story first.  GO BACK AND READ MY RESPONSE FROM YESTERDAY.  Then give advise.
