i have my own opinons, my own mind, my own money (and his), etc.

i can't imagine it any other way. Then agian we are married and i know some people just meet to play or don't live together. So maybe for a short period of time during play that might work, but i can;t imagine anyone taking away your right to have your own opinion. To me that would be boring.

i allow slave to have opinion. i ask for input often, and slaves knowledge is greatly appreciated. my slave has a job and family to associate with, as well as music it prefers that i do not really like. slave is also allowed at times to choose what it likes, such as food. my slave is not allowed to voice its opinion as any type of master/slave affairs in any format, unless asked upon.

those are just my protocols, well some, on that issue.

a slave on its hands and knees all the time is pretty much worthless to me......

if opinions, thoughts, feelings even objections are felt but not heard (to whatever degree) then in time they will fester and grow out of all proportion.

everyone needs to feel validated by their own perceptions.

i identify with being of a slave type, more than submissive. my opinion was sometimes sought and my opinions were always heard, might not have been right then when i wanted to say it and my opinion may not have had much to do with the outcome, but my opinion was heard, considered and valued.

As someone that's been around since those days.... It would be nice to say that I agree with you in that fact that there was alot more maturity then than there is now. But in my preception, there is no more or less today as there was then. In part, because you likely don't come across the stupidity that was occuring then as easily as you do now. I remember much of it.... ironically, the Master of the author of this thread was one that was often mixed up in such drivel. Maybe I should say that he is her ex-master... since the train wreck eventually happened like many of the day suspected it would.

With time, things fade in the back ground... I find that what we focus on our daily life tends to be what we see mostly in the past. IE... the negative person of today sees so much negativity in the past. wisdomtogive... I believe your comments reflect more of who you are today in character than what it was like on the forums back in 2005-2006.

I thank you for the compliment. Yes, negativity is always around, and for me not basking in that type of stuff, I tend to dismiss it. Some people go out of their way to be hated, which imho is so foolish, since they really aren't hated. Some people go out of their way to be so different and call others names because they can't see beyond their own ignorance. This i see everyday, here, work or just in general life, so when i need to find info, i hit the search engine here, or i go talk with positive minded people. I'm too old for the games, and dang proud of it.

Thanks again Knightofmists for also being one those on here that brings in the positive in the present time.

I've always valued the opinions of our household's servants, as long as those opinions are presented in a manner consistent with the formalities that we've agreed upon as part of our household's dynamic.
