Darcy,

Cut the fucking crap, what is it about you protecting dysfunction on the boards?  Our resident drama queen constantly insults anyone who doesn't tell her what she wants to hear.  When those people respond back, you get all pissy about them being personal and nasty.

Telling a drug addict they are an addict, isn't rude and it isn't cruel.  However, telling them that is all they deserve IS cruel but nobody is telling the OP she doesn't deserve better, they are ALL telling her she is an addict and to pull the fucking drama needle out of her arm and grow the fuck up.  Considering she is a therapist, it doesn't seem all that unreasonable to expect her to look in the god damn mirror and see how dysfunctional she is, repeating the same pattern over and over and over and over and over and each time wondering "wow, what happened, never expected THAT outcome"!!!!!

But it is a thread about collars. You can't feel for me. I never asked anyone to even consider it to be about that.
Oh it must be my personal charisma that draws people in lol.
Now, get off the Prinsexx thing and i am genuinely interested in reading about collars and justt as bored as everyone else lol about reading about myeslf.
But heh...it's true what they say...all publcity is good publicity.

My apologies prinsexx, i genuinely believed that not only was this thread based on the experience of the other sub you mentioned, but yours too. I really was only trying to show genuine concern.

To speak of collars using what you have said 'in and out of collars', why do people do it?
Simply to get laid in my opinion.

The thing about my collar is that's it's a sharowski crystal in the shape of a heart. It is very rare and pure and open. I have released myself twice from the same collar now because of lies and duplicity and ignorance...released myself not because i was unaware of its meaning to me but released myself because to have remained enslaved would have been living in sin rather than sacredness.

Your collar sounds beautiful and i really hope you find the right person to place it round your neck.

Some people sleep around looking for love, some people gather collars for the same reason.  Doesn't much work for either group.

How do you know this?
I wouldn't know except from what people tell me they do for collars and then i also wouldn't judge if it worked for them ot not. If they discover it didn't work for them so be it. If it takes many many times repeating the same pattern over and over then so be it, Both for myself and for others.
Recursion is a human trait in all things ans something I have witnessed in the dauly work I do.

I would go a step further whilst completely agreeing.  (See I did say I admired many of your thoughts - not that its a big thing - it's only lil ole me afterall[;)])

Some people just need to feel they belong or have some sort of impact in peoples lives, so they sleep around or have multiple collars because of the importance that collars seem to have in BDSM circles.  I think a big indication on this is that a collar also immediately thought of as a some sort of neckwear.  Which for the many people it isn't.
If people didnt find collars so important, then you wouldn't get the lovely little bracketted initials after peoples names on forums etc.  It shows others you are important to someone.  People are using it as proof.

And some people just need to be noticed.

I am going to bury it for a while in the garden. I think that is one way of purifying crystal. Or washing it in salt water? I don't know.
When in doubt about protoocl I turn to ritual.
You never need apologise miss T. but I accept it.

In the same way  cutting the rope from which I was bound and hung made promises of never abandoning me a lie.
Again no such thimg as THE TRUTH. Only a congruence...a shared reality.

I'm sorry that you didn't like my advice.  Personally, I think my advice has been spot on.  I think it's ridiculous for people to allow themselves to get so caught up in this frenzy that they get collared so quickly.  Over and over again.  And then wonder why it doesn't work.  These people attract drama.  They seem to feed off of it.
I'm not someone to sit there and say "poor you."  That's just enabling.

I can without reservation say - I have never seen you give anyone good effective advice. You might put your judgements on a person and try and come up with your thoughts on another person you have never met or known, but constructive advice without getting personal?  No and never.

quote:

We're very up to speed.  You've shown how stable you are and I've shown how stable I am.  People will judge us both on our words here.

Absolutely - people will.  They do so time and again - with a pinch of salt and for the drama you cause and the piss taking and personal comments you do to the same particular individuals, again and again.  I am sure you are comfortable in the run downs you place on people - which is cool and down to you hey - but don't think for a moment that everyone enjoys them or finds them remotely mature or comfortable.
Flame away.

What I have found is that regardless of how personal someone is getting, how much someone is flaming, your harshest critics are your greatest teachers. I got alot of flames directed my way when I joined these boards. Spent time trying to get affirmation for what I wanted to hear. The truth hurts.

So what I say is always look at what people say. As much as things hurt learn and try to improve. Dont take it personal. Think of things as tough love and learn but dont hold on to what is not the truth of you. I think we know deep down when people are right and when they are just here to cause a stir.

Well, for a start, it's not Darcy, it's dark.
Protecting?  No.  That is actually quite funny(if you knew me).

My post was about your comment being personal and biased and that people who often make great suggestions, that constantly speak about their 'community involvements' etc... can be biased and that this should be taken into consideration whilst reading advice - just as much as you think that dyfunctional posters should be taken into consideration.

In other words - even the seemingly great can be wrong.

And seriously?  Pissy?  Condecending maybe, even argumentative... but pissy?
That is a new one.[;)]

I totally agree that the harshest critiques are the toughest and often the best teachers.  I think that rocks, personally.
But only when it is done out of genuine consideration and not personal gain.(And meh, I can be a bitch sometimes[:D])

i think both sides want to help. On one side there is a friend you may know personally. You know shes sweet, sarcastic insightful and a really good person, regarless of personal decisions made in that persons life. On the other hand there is the other group that may feel like they have been giving advice for a long time that they feel isn't being heeded and they are frustrated. Either way, personal feelings and impressions are formed. you cant take that out of the equation.

Everyone is just being blatantly honest and telling it like they see it. Their is just more than one facet .

On topic: I had recieved a collar with no real deep meaning. i gave it back even though it was a gift. I have a new Sir but I am not collared. I am taking things Real slow including all intimacy's. Its working much better this way.

just rung a friend who heals with crystals, scrys, etc., she says that all you have to do is run the crystal under a running tap until its cold, then either dry with a clean towel, or leave on a windowsill for the sun to dry them.

so there you go....

I totally get what you are saying luscious.  But regardless of whether I know prinnie or not, I do get that people are trying to be of assistance.  My comment on one particular female poster as you highlighted, has nothing to do with prinnie however, and everything to do with me viewing their posts all over the CC board and being -

This thread is to long to hold my interest. Well there is a few interesting parts. Seeing Michael go at it made for some interesting reading.  Seeing Aileen pissed off was a first for me. I feel so left out that I did'nt get in on this from the start.
