[8|] Well, i was born the oldest. Then adopted and that made me a second child. Had two younger sisters and one older. None of them are in the lifestyle.[sm=dunno.gif] i was born submissive. But, on another weird turn of this question. i raised two boys on my own. No dad or man around, and was pretty Dom at that time in my life.
Birth-order is kinda like sun signs.[&:]

I'm the youngest of two. One older brother. Submissive in relationships, but not in my every day life.

My opinion on this subject? It's nature versus nurter isn't it? I can only say for myself. I don't think my birth order dictated my orientation. I'm not saying that it didn't for other people, or that it can't in general. I think the way you grow up helps, but it's not the only reason for the way you are.

This topic has always interested me.

Oldest of three and dominant.  I personally feel this helped create my dominant side, as my parents divorced when I was 13 and I became the "man of the house" which built my persona of taking care of others through tough times, and the constant desire to make the decisions and be in control.

On one hand, i'm the youngest of 3, also the oldest of two, have no clue about any other siblings..... 
 
Spoiled rotten *baby* of the "family", adopted when my *siblings* had/were having children of their own.  Actually have three nephews older then me. 
 
Thinking the whole "birth order" needs a new subcatagory "Unknown birth order" or maybe a few extra equations to include people such as myself.

i am the youngest of five, was adopted at three months old, and the youngest of nine. Although i feel i was born submissive, that is not how i interact with my siblings or the world as a whole for that matter.

I'm the second child in my family.  I've an older brother (3 years my senior, extremely charismatic, and by far the favorite) I've always been dutiful, eager to please, and submissive.
