Oldest of two - and submissive. Actually I'm always seen as the assertive, confident sibling, and my younger brother is seen as laid back and quiet one ( but I reckon he's Dom behind that mild exterior....).

Oldest sibling of 2. Submissive in relationships, but not otherwise. I wonder if us being 10 years apart has any bearing on the results as well.

5 out of 6...but there is 11 years difference between the oldest and I and 14 months between me and the youngest. As well, I had a sister die when I was 13, and she was 19, and that left me and my younger sister at home. We pretty much raised ourselves and caring for my parents from then on. Am submissive to Master, in all other areas...more dominant just due to the way life has happened. Much happier having someone else in control. I have always found the theory of birth order interesting but not sure how much it holds true to the reality of families.

No, I don't think there is a relation when it comes to Ds. I am the eldest of two siblings only 1,5 year apart. I have always been submissive and my sister always dominant. And I do believe in any relationship wether between siblings, lovers, co-workers there is that dynamic. One is the follower the other the leader. By the way, nice topic.

Im the oldest of two, blood relations that is... I am a switch. Im very dominating outside of my home, and mildly submissive in it. My hubby is very dominating to everyone, but slightly submissive to myself. We make a strange pair, or atleast thats what everyone tells me. My little brother, 2 1/2 years appart, is VERY dominating. Not only in his life, but also in the bedroom. Thats what he tells me, and his gf doesnt deny it. This is a very good topic.

Oldest out of 4.I was rather a quite child untill you either bothered a friend {or a younger sibling]then shit hit the fan and stayed that way till either I was out..or your were,lol, and I've never been nocked out. But my Mom used to say if I decied on a course of action, not God or the devil herself would change my mind. I'd not lie to you, but I sure as hell did only what I wanted to do..no matter How mean beatings, or belts you used..the aswer was No..that was that...in fact, it still is that way, but I stopped taking a spanking at 13, much to my mothers temper-tampers..Lol

Oldest of 3 girls and submissive... but also a single mother of one daughter who i think will end up being a Domme!!! there are days she TRIES to issue orders in this house but in the end i'm still boss! I think there may be some merit to this. I'm a mixture oldest/only child (my brother is 12 yrs younger than I am). I was spoiled rotten as a child. Even into my teen years. I ended up living with my grandfather full time when I was about 12-13 due to his health problems. I took care of all the household duties and couldn't tell you what a bill looked like until he passed away. In my adult life, I've raised two children on my own and can be in control of any situation, but, I like having a man that is ultimately in control. Like how my grandpa was....I took care of things around the house, but, he ruled the house. smiles
