Originally I came here to open up my sub husband to exploring more and with any luck to meet a local or two with experience since we are looking to explore the scene around us.

Then, once we started looking around and reading the posts--we found that this is definitely a place where we can even further explore various techniques and topics. We are enjoying reading and hearing others experiences and opinions on various subject matter.

That could be why there are so often more hits than posts. Some of us lurk by mere intrigue. What is this one thread up to now...over 350 hits to 58 plus posts.

I came her to meet someone.  Then I just wanted to find like minded people in my area to talk to.  Now I'm just kind of lurking.  But it is a fun board, with lots of neat people.

i'm here because i really enjoy the forums. i'm not looking for friends. God, i can't keep up with MY own life. But i really am learning tons of stuff, and getting a good daily laugh, and i need someplace to discuss how i'm experiencing the Lifestyle. So far so good. All the posts i read teach me something about how to navigate my way into subbieland. i always appreciate responses to my topics, too. It's all good.

I was recommended this forum by a friend, as a way of exploring ideas about myself and my girl.

I've not been here long, and spent most of it lurking. However, since I joined, I've made a rope flogger, a zipper, a leather strap, a cane, and even built a Cross.

I would definitely say that ideas are being explored! [:D]

i came here as a promise to fallcon when he passed away, to find a new dominant.  i found one, i love the forums because i dont get out of the house much and dont have much social interaction with other people.

i learn, i laugh, i cry at times, and it makes me feel like i may just matter.

CM is basically now my only link with BDSM...kinda like standing outside a fancy restaurant, and not being able to go inside...I can still see the fine food, even if I can't eat it. lol

I first came here to learn about what I was supposed to do with all this sick shit that goes on inside my head.  I was really afraid of making an ass out of myself. With the help of all of ya'll and of one incredible person, I know what that is now...

Whatever the hell I want to!

Also, mustn't forget the WANK FODDER! (Which btw, sounds so much nicer than "jerk-off material".)
As an aside, believe it or not, being here has actually improved my writing!

To LEARN!

To learn that I'm not odd.  (well, not totally)
To learn the names and terms for things that I've been doing my whole life.
To learn that others enjoy doing those things also.
To learn new things.
To learn new skill sets.
To explore the possibilities and find someone to explore with me. 

I was very lucky to find wonderful people to share their knowledge and a wonderful pup who doesn't mind experimenting.

I believe that like someone said a couple pages back -- the whole thing about views/posts is the posters coming back to reread a thread. I do it a lot, myself.

I came to CM more than a year ago to find a "real" Dom -- not a "one twue way" thing, but I had just gotten out of a long vanilla relationship with someone who loved to tell me in bed all the ways he wanted to Dom me -- and even bought implements that were never used in bed.

I found I really like a lot of the people on CM (I was looking at people for friends AND for relationships, and was looking in the DC area with the intent of moving there that December). I found a relationship where I least expected it in real life and had a sweet 9-10 month relationship with a very sweet vanilla boy and disappeared completely from CM, not logging in for anything. Trying to pretend the lifestyle had no hold on me.

I was very unfulfilled in that relationship and it fell apart of its own accord about the same time I moved to a new place (Bowling Green, KY).and used CM to find a new relationship (I will have been with Master for one month on Wednesday!) as well as great local friends for a social life (duckiemine, DV and her Fox being the major ones).

I love coming on the forums. Except for days like today where I have literally too much classwork to get done before work in 3 hours yet I'm posting on here anyways. eep.

Myself personally I am on sites like CM to maintain contacts that I've already made and make new ones. Being married and both of us being dominant there is always the hope to find the right submissive partner but nothing has really developed in that but I've met several and made new friendships that are great for sharing thoughts and ideas with.

I've been on several online communities over the last decade and I use it more as a tool for communication. For both me and my wife our lifestyle is experienced off-line in real-life not online. Online is just another tool like a telephone or IM to stay in touch when not able to talk in person.

Of course you matter. We all matter, surely. i was saddened to be reminded of death. i am so deeply enslaved that even though it is very early days master and i have already spoken of what should happen should he pass before me.
i am so very happen that you found another dominant.
