mistressbadgirl -> my take on financial domination (9/22/2008 5:55:45 PM)

There is a great debate when it comes to the subject of Financial Domination. To some its veiwed simply as thievery( per a profile i read earlier) and/or prostitution(as read in many others). In MY opinionI believe those opinions give the submisive a way to top from the bottom.( for those that dont know what t In the true nature of submission, the submissive is required to be obidient and never question the desires of his Owner. Anytime the submissive is awarded the valuble time of a Dominant he/she should treat it as the honor it is.  Gifts/tribute is only a way for a slave to show his appreciation for even being taken on as a submissive in the first place.

Having an opinion is topping from the bottom?  Interesting.

The "true nature of submission?"

I think I'm going to pay a visit to the true porcelain god.

Maybe in your opinion, but your opinion doesn't apply to what everyone else thinks submissives should be.

SoulRavager -> RE: my take on financial domination (9/22/2008 6:28:16 PM)

I think your thinking is flawed for two reasons.

First, theres a difference between having control over someones money and demanding they give it to you. I have had control over slaves bank accounts but not felt the need for them to spend that money on me to prove their submission.

Secondly, if it is so necessary, why is there a gender gap? You rarely if ever find male doms demanding tribute.

This will be interesting.

ROFLMAO...This oh so subtle opinion of yours has the extra added benifit of validating your lifestyle huh!!!

Lockit -> RE: my take on financial domination (9/22/2008 6:43:20 PM)

Real men don't need to pay tribute... even for my time... I go for the size matter's subject matter... Now, now... I know... I only want you for your cock... but then, I believe a cock is a cock until it works with a few brain cells and a heart.  So no cheating...  What good is a tribute if I don't get my cock?  But then... I might not be a true domme... at least that's what a couple have said... but dang... they didn't have that cock... just that other cock. What a vicious cycle...

It's amazing how something that I believe in like leadership and domination can be phrased in such a way that it sounds... vile. First, I don't see any issue with a servant contributing to a household that xhe is a part of. I contribute to our household, my Darling contributes to our household, our grown girls who are living at home while in college and starting a business contribute to the household. It doesn't seem like a stretch that a servant would contribute as well.

In the same way, it doesn't seem outrageous to me that a professional would be paid for hir time... s-type or d-type, if a service is being provided, payment of some sort, in kind or otherwise, isn't an outrageous expectation.

I think that where I have problems is that somehow, a random d-type can presume that hir time is -so- valuable that xhe can -demand- tribute or money as if xhe were a royal setting out taxes for the pleasure of living in the same demesne.

I think I -also- have issue with the idea that an s-type should never question a d-type. I think that a healthy relationship, even with the most subservient of individuals, occasionally comes with questions, and a healthy d-type will take those questions in stride and deal with them both appropriately and decisively. A servant may be given a bit of leeway in areas where xhe proves capable, and that, too, will bring opportunities that may generate questions regarding a d-type's rules or questions. The capacity to evaluate and shape a household structure to the strengths of the s-types involved is one of the things that I think marks a skilled and astute d-type. A d-type who cannot handle questions from hir staff runs the risk of becoming staid and inflexible, and having a household that suffers by consequence.

In the last, I think that I disagree with the idea that an s-type should somehow be penalized for being accepted into a relationship. The idea that another person is somehow so diminished that my mere attention in hir direction should be paid for seems... unrealistic to me. Even for someone like myself, who actually -likes- having the completely docile, heavily managed, and needy s-type yielding to me, the idea that xhe should be cowed into paying for my mere consideration is... I'm sorry, but to me it is ridiculous... as ridiculous as expecting me to carry the entire burden of sustaining a household of 4, 5, or more people on one middle-class income, just because I'm the d-type and I "should be able to handle it" would be.

Amen Calla. Even if I am miffed you civilized this posting.[;)]

My boy has always handed over every pay check, govn't refund, GI Bill payment etc since he has moved in.  I never asked but since his bills are currently more than he brings in, it just seemed....'right'.  He hates that he can't contribute more and can't wait to do so.  In the meantime, I support him as best I can.

The OP reminds me of the saying 'if you have to tell someone you are a 'Lady'....'; if you have to ask for 'tribute'...

*Laughs* I started posting when there were only 3 posts... but my daughters made double-dark chocolate brownies, fresh out of the oven with homemade whipped cream, so I -had- to stop... couldn't pass up those brownies while they were still warm... Honest, I only paused for about 3 minutes to get a plate, put a brownie on it and add some whipped cream... then got right back to writing... and look where I ended up... tail end of the ass. *LOL*

Usako -> RE: my take on financial domination (9/22/2008 7:00:15 PM)

Everyone has opinions and, much like assholes, sometimes they stink.

I thought this was some sort of joke until I read the OP's profile and was taken back by the utterly rude, bitchy nature of it; which is usually how the "greedy gimme money so you can worship me" profiles sound. So now I get where the deluded opinion comes from.

I don't agree with finacial domination at all, I think it's using someone and stealing from them. Some people get their rocks off having a woman  take their life savings just like some people actually find bithcy attitudes attractive. That's THEM. That doesn't mean that EVERY sub/slave should gift/tribute/be used to have the "honor" of serving.

And FYI, a sub/slave's time is JUST has valuable as a dominat's time. We're all human beings and have lives and are sharing our time and energy with someone else. But then again I don't feel like subs/slaves are "lower than me" just because I can hit them with a paddle or they want to rub my feet.

ArizonaProDomme -> RE: my take on financial domination (9/22/2008 7:08:19 PM)

ducks to avoid any flying objects for saying..I am a Lifestyle Domme and you can tell from My display name I offer My domination skills professionally not to say I am a pro at it (as Ive seen that argument) simply meant professionally in terms of monetary exchange. I dont consider My clients that see Me in person who pay for My time as financial domination.

Typically financial domination refers to online or either phone "Dominants" and I use that a quite loosely who engage in financial contracts based on acts they are made to perform or blackmail terms that are centered around personal information willingly given by the caller/customer then a role play type scenario is devised to seem as though the "phone or internet Dominant" is threatening the other with information lest financial terms arent met. Dominants really that believe playing games to fein money out others even if of their free will arent twu Dominants for sure.

I enjoy My real time work as I dont offer online. It may surprise you to know that many men for some crazy reason want to be controlled in this way, I get calls for it often. What I enjoy about My real time work is the opportunity that I get to enhance the session in order to make it as real as possible and honestly I get off (in My head) a great deal from My clients sessions. My marketing has been updated to reflect not offering financial domination as a service because honestly its stupid....real dumb and it takes more time on My part than it could ever be worth....again ducks for flying objects...I like to say in My work I make dreams and fantasies come true...if My work was financial domination I would then have to say I con ignorant people out of their money and Im okay with that.---and Im not.

On a side note..those that play with Me, submit to Me etc on a personal level are never asked to contribute to My finances in anyway. Dinner or breakfast tab sure but not at My command....green tea when they are on their way because they know I love it......... but really if they know I offer My services to others who do pay what does that say about My ability to earn income based on My skill if I have to then turn around and command money or financial support from them?? Plus I wholeheartedly believe that the energy I exchange and that I receive from My personal playmates et all is tribute enough plus the shit they will let Me do that My clients would or have to say NO to...thats a huge bonus--I dont have any live ins.

Ms. Jlynn

So..ps...financial domination is just a hoax....created by men who like to have bitchy young girls on sites like niteflirt to scream and yell at them send them pics of their tits then charge them money for the hell she reaks.

mistressbadgirl -> RE: my take on financial domination (9/22/2008 7:22:24 PM)

where u misunderstand my take on it and the beliefs of others..i simply feel its a stronger form of submission that only the most submissive can give

There's something to be said for that!  When I first started out in the lifestyle, I mistakenly pigeonholed myself as a submissive.  I cannot remember one single dom who didn't expect or even require sex as part of our "playtime".  Well, except for the one I married.  They were also quite often the only one that walked away satisfied.   Perhaps because I wasn't playing with twue doms.
