Good evening,
Well, it seems to me that either way he tells you to vote it is ALWAYS a good idea to know both sides of any issue. I may hate Xtianity or Sufism but I still must know what their beliefs and dogma are in order to decide to hate it. Besides, any knowledge is good right? What happiness than to acquire knowledge for its own sake? Like awareness/consciousness it is something that once you have it-no one can ever take it away, even under torture.
Okay, long night I am being philisophical. But as far as the elections-I am Native American (apache) so "Americans" can deal with all the problems and debates that come along with taking over another's country and setting up your own government. Love it or give it back to us.

Interesting. Do you find that line of thinking to be effective in your dynamic regarding things like....

a) Amputations
b) Selling your slave's children to the circus
c) Taking over their bank accounts and account numbers

Seriously, unless it's something where the reasoning behind the command is obvious like with "Do the dishes in the sink" and you have reasonable, legitimate questions or concerns, then the inability to voice them leans more toward a problem of "communication issues" rather than the pinnacle of ego-fueled super dominance.

Sorry to go off on a rant and maybe we'll just have to agree to disagree, but "Do it because I said so" is slightly below "Disobey me once and I throw you to the curb" on my list of flawed dominant clichés.

Good thing I am not strongly opinionated, huh?

im watching it now and would rather rehash my feelings on faceslapping than listen to any more of their shit....im literally revisiting threads from June over here. Obviously im going to vote...but do i need to be punished as well??

I think that voting is not an issue that can be taken lightly, and please, please don't.
I'm from europe, but I'd give anything to be able to vote for this election, because whether you like it or not, the outcome is gonna affect more than just USA.
I think that voting for the candidate your master told you to is, in my opinion, VERY disrespectful for those who fought for voting rights.
In my opinion, this isn't a friggin BDSM game, it's USA's future.
And voting for someone else is like lying... Dishonest... The candidate would win based on dishonesty.
I don't mean to judge Tsatske.. But it's just my opinion, and this saddens me alot.

Maybe because he enjoys your company? Or, values your input in making such a weighty decision, so before he comes to any conclusion, wants to make sure he's gotten your educated opinion. In which case, it makes sense to make sure you're educamated. Or, he could just be an evil mofo. :)

Tsaske, As you have stated you are ok with things, just frustrated and ranting all I can say is I feel for you. I almost wish (not really, but kinda sorta) that someone would just tell ME who to vote for because in this particular election, I'm stumped and undecided for the first time in - well, won't go there but you get my drift.

I think that your Master wanting you by his side, suffering with him, is very sweet. Or even better than sweet! Maybe he's really just a sadistic bazturd who enjoys watching you squirm or has some weird catatonic sub fetish. It's all good!

For example, I was taught that it's ok to disagree, but it's not ok to be disagreeable.

I was taught that it's ok to disagree with someone's opinion, but it's not ok to criticize or attach the person who expressed it.

I was also taught that you never say anything about someone that you would not say to their face. If I had a problem with advice I received from my Mentor, it remained between the two of us and we resolved it ourselves.

Yes, it is quite possible that this girl has her Dom's permission to seek advice elsewhere. However, without knowing this for sure (she hasn't said), I can not imagine many Doms telling their collared submissive that if he or she disagrees with an instruction, that they are free to go to strangers in a public forum and ask for their opinions.

My opinion on this question stems from my background and training.

You may have a different background, and I respect both you and your right to disgree with me. I merely ask you to confine your disagreement to the view that is expressed.
