The driving/cleaning slave I was actually talking about was the one who wrote to GT and asked if he could clean or whatever she wanted since he'd be in FL in February! I said she should make him do laundry and be the chauffeur, but I like your ideas better!!!!!

A bottle of wine is also nice. And make sure you get a bottle or two of sparkling juice for the kids and those who don't drink.

I wish, Aylee, but she has it all completely planned out. I was going to bring some goodies but no, she nixed that too, said that they're just going to buy a couple of pies. The wine's a good idea, Lumus and I were going to give them some for a Christmas present, a kind of "from us to you" kind of thing, beyond the Secret Santa gift exchange. And of course we're bringing juice for munchkin, though we usually drink milk with dinner. (I know, big drinkers here..... We likes da strong stuff!)

Eep, I have one. A 'Marine' using his experience in the armed forces to pout and cry about civi life, and how it is just so terribly hard to readjust.

He kept snivling to my friend I was with about how hard it was, because he killed 'so many people' and 'watched my brothers gunned down'. This of course, is the reason it's taken him over six months to pick up a new job, and more than enough to annoy me and my friend at a bar. Bored, I texted a guy in his company.... they've never been in combat.

No...he went home after he set of fhis car alarm which woke up my landlady.

I was getting all frustrated because I couldn't make him come fast enough which only caused more performance anxiety. then he set off the alarm, which means I had to jump out of the car and he had to drive away. Then, he calls me to apologize for leaving so soon, because it wasn't his intention to "hook up and just leave".

I hate boys. Stupid, stupid boys. Need to find something pointy to throw at them. Like pineapples. Pineapples are pointy.

I feel your pain... we've never set off the car alarm, but I DID manage to lock myself out of the house. The landlady had to come down to let me back in... and I was standing there with a blanket, my bra, and a bottle of massage oil.... eep eep.

And wtf... I FINALLY had a chance to use that dancing pineapple smiley, and I cannot find it. :(

I loaned my bagless vac to my neighbor & when she brought it back it was so full of crap that I had to take it apart & wash the filter. It's now dead because it got so clogged. When I talked to her this morning & told her she had done that, she was surprised. I said, "I guess I should have told you that you should empty it once in awhile, but I figured that everyone knew that a vacuum needed to be emptied." When I told her there was a "Full" line on the front of the bin, she said, "Really??" Eyes rolling away!!!!!

Damn Linea...it is pretty hard, imho, to completly fill it with only one use...even if she cleaned her whole house. Makes you wonder what her floors looked like. I hope she plans on replacing it.
