The way they push their shopping cart is probably the way they drive. Gets an eye roll from me every time.

Driving the same route I drive EVERY night since my transmission started screwing up, I pass a series of car dealerships...

one sign (which I see every night) had me thinking it said SNORT

(smart cars)

Ice and sleet and freezing rain here, and get to work and find that all the surgery patients have arrived at the hospital, and not all the staff.
eyeroll for the people who risk car and life to get elective surgery
eyeroll for the staff who couldn't get to work.

we were blasted here yesterday and throughout the night. You have my total sympathy!

I think Klutzy's (she who apparently also can't spell) weather hit us here too. I, on the other hand, think it's beautiful and gorgeous. Especially looking out on it with a fresh, hot cuppa.....

I have to admit...an ice storm is one of the most awesome things you will ever see. Everything looks like it was dipped in diamonds!

But the damage it does...downed power lines, accidents, etc

I know, I got stuck in one while on a trip a few years ago. Took me 3 fricking days to get home on what is normally a 6 hour drive. It was awesome, incredible, horrific and one of those sights that I will never forget. Sheets of ice 6" thick sticking out from road signs at over a 60° angle (almost 90° in some cases) was the most bizarre thing I'd ever seen.

All that from a storm that lasted less than 16 hours but did millions in damage and closed the region down for days, weeks in some areas.

Rain

Klutz is spelled correctly, if you speak Yiddish.

And that ice storm last Thursday that put me in the dark until Saturday? Heard on the radio this morning that the last few outages won't be fixed until tomorrow. A full week out.

Rain, you can have all the ice storms in the future.

What had my eyes rolling today was shopping for fat-chick clothes (me being the fat chick!) and wondering who designs the crap available?!
If I wanted to wear polyester tents that look like a box of crayons melted on them then there would be no problem!
Silly me for wanting to look fashionable.

*decides it really is time to get a sewing machine*
