Thanks sravaka! Did it explain why it happens to women of this....uh.... age? Is it related to specific other health conditions or just some nebulous thing?

And of what age I would really like to know. I do walk with a cane, but shoot I'm not that freaking old!

I wish I could remember the details... but "a certain age" would beyond late 30s-early40s... and it just has to do with blood that is normally in the vicinity of ears temporarily having other more urgent things to do, then being a bit delinquent getting back on the job. :-)

If you get any better info from the MD types I hope you'll post it!

And yes, I'll appreciate your typing a bit louder here and there. :-)

*peeks head in* Hi - I don't post much, but this thread had me rolling, so thanks...

And I do have a suggestion, but I can't guarantee the validity. <-----Disclaimer!

I've experienced orgasm headaches before, and the only thing that gave me relief was a chiropractic adjustment. Seems that I hold my head to the left during my...umm... err...'quality time' the same way I do on the phone most of the time, so I have a tendancy to shift all those bones / muscles, etc. around. (This adjustment also takes care of my migraines.)

Now I'm not a health nut by any means, but I do think there is some validity to chiropractic; I can also tell you my niece didn't have to have tubes put in her ears after she started getting adjusted (tubes are put in when the ear canals don't drain as they are supposed to). Most insurance will cover a certain number of visits per year. So just a suggestion, again based on my experience only. <-----Disclaimer Number Two!

oh, i can vouch for the practors of the chiro persuasion....an adjustment would so totally work....good thing she cant hear this anymore...and after i blind her for the bitchy hitachi comments ill go see my favorite chiropractor....he can adjust soooo many things.

Now, what i would like to know is, why is no one concerned about me burning my pinkparts? i feel soooo alone.....sniffle.

i can relate, i did that once, too.....but it was a wahl type, not the magic wand. still owwies though! note to self: no vibrators AFTER benadryl. fallin asleep with the fingers there just gets me giggled at.

Headache, stiff neck, dizziness all point to meningitis.

Dizziness, chest pain, "flutters in my chest" points to something cardiac.

I would recommend taking that trip to the ER unless you can get into the doc today... someone else driving you would be best.

lovingpet, you could still have something sinus-related happening in there, even without any noticeable congestion. I would've voted on the general shifting of ear-type fluids that would eventually work itself out, but your latest list of symptoms concerns me further. You should get to a doc ASAP. The messing of the ear-ly fluids, throwing off your equilibrium can screw with a lot of things and can also be a symptom itself of other problems.. Please go take care of yourself!
