"Armageddon"

We changed it to that after seeing a humorous clip online with someone screaming that word.  It's funny to us, and would take some of the sting out of having to say it/hear it.

Pah, you needn't worry in the least what I think of you. I'm just one of those types of people who verbalizes (or in this case, types out) every thought that goes through her little mind. It's a flaw.

"Who are you?" would make a great safeword! But then I'd be tempted to delve into uber-geekdom with that phrase, and repeat the rest of the mantra as done by the science fiction show Babylon 5.....(another flaw, I've got so many of them!)

We don't actually have a safeword, but I once mumbled "I don't think I can handle any more right now" or something similar and it worked just the same...

"Banana Peel" is what we say. It is used when things get a lil too kinky or pain is over the threshold.

When I had a safe word it was 'pancakes' because I couldn't possibly imagine using the word pancakes in a sexual way.  Oh Daddy, yes, spank my pancakes, lmao..........

it deepends on who you play with and how you play. if you are with a close partner and they know you well, if you say ok im done thats its or no do not do that, they know when you mean it and you dont. if you enjoy staying in character, say no a lot when you mean yes or are playing with a new or inexperienced partner a safeword is a good idea.

personally i like to keep it simple
red means stop, green means go, and yellow you are getting close and dont go too much farther.

Officially, I've used red/yellow/green. When I'm flying in bottom space, I tend to forget those and skip straight to very basic communication though. For example,  "motherf*****r!" has been known to slip out as a yellow, and "do that again and you're a dead man" has been heard as a red, lol. Both times, the other person read those for exactly what they were meant to be...probably because the tone of my voice changed enough to reflect that I was no longer having a good time.

With gags in place, I've used cat toys with some success. The little balls with bells inside are small enough to fit into my hand and still make enough noise when they hit the ground.

I'm just getting involved with my very first dom.  We don't really have a safeword yet I just say that's too much and he stops whatever it is that he was doing and then we talk a little so he knows what it was that made me tell him it was too much.  It seems to be working well so far; I'm sure we'll come up with a safeword once things progress further.

I was showing some folks the room I intend to be my 'grown up play room' and had a table with a bunch of miscellaneous unrelated stuff on it, among those items, a Strawberry Shortcake bell from when I was an um.  When asked what that was for, I managed to keep a straight face while replying, "It's for safewording out when someone can't speak".  Others being quite firm in my perviness took me seriously and didn't seem to believe me when I said, "Are you kidding; it's glass, that wouldn't even be safe!" but I do love the total incongruity of the Strawberry Shortcake theme!  Lol!  :>

Ironically, I like to use &.  Which is not to say 'and' but rather 'ampersand', because how often do you seriously hear that word?  For people with less of a sense of humor red/yellow works just fine too, but humor is the spice of life so I like to incorporate into everything (entirely appropriate or otherwise )

Herpes

Brings a sudden and complete end to the action and or intrusion at hand.

Also clears the room, the club, the sidewalk outside the club, and the Denny's next to the club.

And that makes for easy access to a table for four to satisfy those late night hunger pangs caning can induce.
