Not necessarily. I am approaching 40 (big suck) and I have never had one of these umm shared moments.  I am way wierd about letting that side of me *out* and I don't intend to start anytime soon. Nope.

I'm tempted to print out this whole thread. My tummy hurts from laughing and I feel fortunate to have missed out on some of these experiences but also a bit nervous about the future as I am still pretty young so its bound to happen eventually.

i am with Aynne on this...

And Jim swears the reason i do not fart is because i do not close my mouth long enough to build up any pressure.

Thank you ladies for giving me a little more hope then.

Growing up, I never once heard or saw either of my parents fart or burp or anything more than like a sneeze or a cough. They were very discreet with us children so I can only assume they were also discreet with each other.

well considering the doors were clear across the store, and the two isles I walked up, to get to a place to discreetly fart, no. I didn't lol.

one time I had to fart really really badly and I was looking for a isle with no one in it to let it rip since it was gonna be loud and stinky, and unfortunatly for me this one women behind me kept going down the same isles I did lol so it was quite a while before I could let it rip.

rather than run up and down the isles, did you think to run out the door?

Aynne, well in Michael's we'd just eaten Mexican food about 20 minutes before, I had beef and cheese empanada's with ranch because ranch is the perfect creamy smoothness to the kinda spicyness of the cheese in those beef empanada's and then a toqito and then mexican rice. And 4 or 5 glasses of ice tea, w hich never contributes to gas by itself. I drink massive amounts of ice tea quite regularly and it doesn't bother me.

So that would explain the massive need to fart.

The one time I mentioned before where he gaged and hollared oh gross barf yuck, I can't remember what I'd eaten, But it was a normal dinner at home. Not really very greesy or fatty or nothing, but it didn't agree with me lol.

One time I got dirreah from eating fresh squash, I had like 4 fresh from garden picked squash, and I am not normally a veggie eater, so it ran strait through me and made me quite unhappy.  And yes I do find if I am eating items I am not normally found to be eating it will upset my stomach something horrendous, That goes for any fruit, and some veggies.

I just have to ask, what in hell is in your diet? Seriously, something is not right, no one should have this many gastro-intestinal horror stories YHMA. A balanced healthy diet should eliminate most of these issues, yes, I know Holly, I said *eliminate*

Another time I was in walmart in a discreet corner, farted, then an employye walked by a few seconds later, and loudly announced PEW someone farted. I turned so red lol...

Now that wasn't as bad as trying to fart and accidently shitting, but it was embarrasing enough.

Mortification is walking through the mall and discretely go to pass gas and find out you get more than expected.....

Hey I have no problem with farting in public.I do try to make sure it's not where people are going to be in the next minute or so, and I try not to do it right by people, but like I said I'm not prudish about it.

Wow No dad saying "pull my finger" ? I dont know how it would be with out gross out contests.

My mom used to stock us up on rootbeer and burtitos... and we would have a contest to see who could beltch and fart the loudest.

Gwyn,
who does the ABC's in beltching with the um.

She's not talking about your "need" to pass gas in public tho that's no surprise, she's saying "good grief" about your need to discuss the details that made you do that.  Does the acronym TMI mean anything to you?

I just thought i'd share my shame

Seriously? I thought this was going to be a thread about how someone had a stomach ache and died.

Then, after catching some of the scroll bys; I thought it had to be something like, someone had gas, pulled covers over SO’s head, and let it rip; again ending in possible death.

My ex-hobbie's brother used to do that to his wife. I swore to my ex, if he tried it, I would kill him.

Anywho… glad it wasn’t nearly as lethal as I had first suspected. Perhaps if you’re into humiliation play, you could turn this around to be a good thing?

lol...no gwyn, my Dad is the kind of Dad that made us leave the table to blow our noses. He is a military lifer square kind of Dad, and he only had daughters, no boys, so he tried to keep us *sweet.* I failed. But I still won't toot in public.

Good thing you weren’t spending 3 weeks in a cage w/o a bedpan.  Even with a bedpan, Master or a sister slave has to shovel your shit up close and personal like.

No, actually it doesn't. It takes a LOT personally to make me call TMI, and none of the stuff in this thread, my stuff included would make me call TMI.

If people don't like reading about, potentially disturbing things, STAY OUT of a topic you KNOW is likely going to gross you out.
This was a thread sharing about an embarrassing moment, and people are free to comment back about their embarrasing moment(s)

And besides someone asked what in the hell was in my diet that was making me have such reactions, and I answered.

I had a 4th degree tear ( through the vagina into the anus) with my first um. As a result my sphincter control is a little less than perfect - and as a result, i have had gas "accidents" when least wanted!  My Sir tells me that i have "fluffed" so often at night that the covers were blown off!   Unfortunately, there isn't anything i can do about it, and squeezing the cheeks sometimes just doesn't work - and neither does walking as if your legs are duct taped together.

Luckily , my Sir smiles and makes a joke about it - not running in disgust as my ex used to do (he of course, never did anything so crass!).

Of course , i did grow up with 3 brothers that thought the funniest thing in the world was to sit on the couch and see who could "rip one" the worst!  As i told them then - just wait until you have kids - and they notice that you think its funny!!!!!  Karma is hell sometimes..  They have been well and truly embarassed by their um's doing things that dad thinks is funny in the privacy of his own home  -  not in public!!!!!! *evil giggle*
