And the fences will be rebuilt... no matter how many times the GOP tries to ram a tank through them.

In the mean time... I think they should shut Dick up by simply releaseing the memos he requested. The highly detailed memos that show him as the torture feind that he is.

I wouldn't expect him to do anything other than what he did, which was to continue to laugh and yuck it up with his friends.

It's psychological, a classic case of projection: Sanity is aiming his anger at Obama because Cheney's exactions are too enormous for words.

Kids do it in schools all over the world: ignore the old bully and come down on the new guy. It's so much easier :-) .

I am absolutely floored now... Cheney is stating that Obama has compromised national security by releasing the memos we all knew existed, authorizing torture. I want him to explain HOW the release of the memos will tip off our enemies and strengthen them.

This from the guy whose chief of staff outed a CIA agent. I'll be happy to explain to Cheney how THAT will compromise security.

Richard Armitage was a convenient scapegoat - Cheney never takes responsibility for his actions (see how he made Harry Whittington apologise to him for shooting him rofl). Most probably, Dick had a metaphorical gun pointed at Armitage's face. You can bet Armitage had little choice but to take the flack on behalf of his lord and master. What a fucking turd.

Oops. Libby was convicted of perjury related to the leak, not of the leak itself. The leak DID originate within the Bush administration, but not directly under Cheney's chain of command.
