Since this is coming from someone as strictly nonpartisan as yourself, perhaps I should reconsider?

Hmm. Now that I think about it, Ken Star and Karl Rove do look an awful lot alike. And you know something else? I'll bet you no one has ever seen the two of them at the same time and place together!

You know I have said this before, but I'll say it again.

I don't care which party it was, if a case can be made against them for allowing, pursuing, or promoting illegal actions then they should be prosecuted.

Well, that's the rub. No one wants to sit down and define what is torture. I think anyone with common sense knows waterboarding is, but out of the infamous torture list, that was about the only thing I'd consider outright torture. In the video philosopy posted, the interviewer kept saying "I'm not telling you what it is, but don't do it."

Well hell, what good is that? Particularly in a world where some folks will cry torture at the use of a caterpillar. People keep telling me that we don't need to be having that kind of conversation. The hell we don't. If I'm going to put people in prison, I damned well want to know what ground I'm standing on, and what ground they're standing on so that I can look at it say yup, that's the bad ground. But no one wants to do that. Judith Miller in that same video, no matter what was asked of her kept going back to waterboarding.

I swear, it's like you want to slap her and say, ok stupid, we're past that. We know it is. Now, let's have the caterpillar discussion.

Because until we do, we have no higher ground to stand upon. What we have is a glass pedastal that shatters over things like bugs. It can't stand the heat and we end up looking like a nation split between whining, sychophantic freaks and SS prison guards. It is insane. Not only is it insane, but you give credence to those who will refuse to prosecute anyone when such silliness is incorporated into the grand scheme.

Telling ya, put me on a jury where someone authorized waterboarding, I'll convict. Put me on a jury where someone used a caterpillar, and we'll damned well sit there until hell freezes over or until there's a hung jury because I will not.

Rule, Clinton wasn't impeached for a "blowjob" he was impeached for "purjury." Lying while under oath.
The guy was a *lowlife*.

No, he was impeached in a political witch hunt that started the moment he was elected.

Rule, what would happen to you or me if we got caught for purjury?
I think both Clinton and Bush should be in jail.
A lowlife is a lowlife whether you're in the white house or working on a loading dock.

No one can be completely nonpartisan, now you're trying to cobble together a ridiculous straw man...

No.

You're trying to cobble together an excuse for the Republicans trying to to bring down Clinton from every possible angle.

Now that was funny.

Scary, because it might very well be true, but still funny.

Come on popeye, what would happen to you or I if we outed a CIA agent?

Would we stay out of jail courtesy of the President?

As much as we pretend not to believe it, different rules do apply depending on who you are.

We do keep coming back again and again to this bug thing, don't we?

So let me ask, do you have any phobias?  Any irrational fears?

If you had a fear of drowning would you consider someone forcing you to walk out into the ocean until the water was over your head a form of torture?

Let`s see,we had Ken Starr meeting w/ Linda Trip, who would then meet w/ Paula Jones` lawyers/character assassins and then "chat" with Monica Lewinsky.

Then trip would get instructions from Jones` sharks and from another cunt named Goldberg (who was going to do a"tell-all" book deal w/ Tripp)and then would meet with Starr again. Then Tripp would illegally record phone convos w/ Monica and work w/ Jones` sharks to set a perjury trap w/ Ken Starr`s blessing.

Then Starr would use the illegal perjury trap to club Clinton with.

There`s no way Starr didn`t know that Tripp was working with Jones` lawyers .

That makes him partisan. And if he didn`t know, that makes him a bumbling fool who`s negligence and incompetence helped create a partisan constitutional crisis.

Boy those were heady days.We had(or thought we had) the luxury to waste energy over something as petty as Bill Clinton`s one blow job.

Yes, we keep coming back to this issue because it is eye roll material. Let's see, phobias, not really unless you count the thought of having to sit in a room full of people who wring their hands over a bug. Yeah, that's a scary thought.

And anyone who doesn't have a healthy respect for drowning has never met a good hydraulic.
